Definitely an assisted knife, they deploy easily and are legal. You could honestly just go into an gass station/liquor store and find a decent one, just be sure to maintain it and save it for when the time is right and it’ll work fine.

I suspect that you are in error. The blade was opened manually by his right pointer touching a tab and pulling back, which oprned the blade. No automation involved
