- Hi guys! Happy New Year!! Sorry about the rough quality of this video. I'm in the middle of upgrading my equipment.
In this video I answer some of the questions I've been seeing on my videos and instagram. I also talk about what I'm loving about my locs one year in!

By the way, even if you still were concerned about your loc number, that is your unique experience! That has to do with expectations vs reality, wanting a certain look, whatever else your individual concerns are/were as well as other people’s intruding opinions. Like why were they trying to go hard for no reason? Lmao.

Your locs looks SO GOOD! Thanks for the update and for your honesty in past videos. They helped me prepare for my sisterloc consult which went SO WELL and I'm so excited for my install in 3 weeks. Looking forward to more videos! 💜

Love your video! You look gorgeous! I’ve been contemplating getting sisterlocs just scary to bite the bullet. Lol. This might be a super random question, but how do they feel to the touch?
We share similarities when it comes to sleeping and styling. I am not interested in styling right now either. I will put them in two twists if I want length, but other than that...style what? 😂
Your LOCS look awesome. My babies are three weeks old, so they are still new.. I am so afraid of link getting trapped in my LOCS. With that yellow sweater on, how do you avoid getting yellow lint in your LOCs??

Girl my hair took soooo long to start thickening up, showing length, and generally just doing what I expected. I don't know why, but it did lol.

How do you avoid lint while wearing winter sweaters
@Eatingwithselina This is a really good question haha. For the first 10 months, I really didn’t wear sweaters at all because I didn’t want to have to deal with the lint in my locs.
But now I’ll wear certain sweaters (nothing fuzzy). I just make sure to pick any lint out of my hair as soon as I take the sweater off so it doesn’t build up.
I found that even when I stopped wearing sweaters, lint wasn’t ever completely avoidable. 😅
Don’t wear colours that will rub into your hair or wear your hair up. Personally, I just avoid fabrics that could result in excessive lint in my hair.
What products do you use?
I use Sisterlocks Green Tea Shampoo, Sisterlocks Herbal Moisture Spray, and a DIY mix of water and essential oils. That’s it 😊✨
