Omgosh!!! This video hit the nail on the head. I agree completely with everything you have said here. I have been on a hunt for a consultant. I went to the sister locks website, texted each person in my surrounding area (there were 10). I got replies from most and a few referrals to others. Those referrals were NOT on the website which was a red flag for me. I checked out one, which charged me to set the consultation. Then, when I arrived the environment wasn’t pleasant at all and she didn’t speak well of the sister lock brand and said she didn’t think she needs to put more then two tester locks in my hair 😳. Fast forward, I have met another lady who I have clicked immediately with. Her work ethic is on point andddd she spoke highly of the sister locks brand and will go by the book, without trying to do things her way. I have my consultation set and I’m ready to take this journey with her by my side!!
I hope you got your money back. This type of video will be very helpful for people looking to get sisterlocks. I've had mine for just over 3 months now. When I was going to different consultation appointments, I made it a priority to ask a lot of the questions you mentioned. One consultant had only done a few establishments before me and I was not comfortable with that even though the price she quoted me was amazing. I ended up paying a lot more money by going with someone more experienced, but I am happy with the results.
This is an older video but still wanted to say thank you. I did my research and knew the first retie was supposed to be in a package. I went to my consultation today and was so excited and on board even when she quoted the price. Then we talked about the first follow up and maintenance prices and she said the maintenance would be 135 and she would discount my first follow up to 100🤔. I ask isn't there a package? She says no?!?! Red flag right there. I booked my appointment before we talked about that. I will be cancelling that. So disappointed since I really liked her and her energy.
