Just drag the second track on top of the main track and select "Cutaway" from the far left tab in the toolbar. Use the opacity slider to hide or show the main track.
@ I figured it out thanks. You did that but did not voice it out. I added clip as next clip then dragged to the top. My iMovie had no cutaway option. But that’s what happens when I dragged it to the top 🤩.
