Thanks for your video. We're planning to relocate to Houston from Indy, and Woodlands is our top pick right now. The other options are Katy or Kingswood area
I live in the woodlands I actually grew up here for my middle school and high school years, moved to another state after high school for 8 yrs decided to finally move back home to Texas and came back straight to the woodlands yup healthy place to live always! Only thing it can be boring for young people and singles you’re gonna have to drive to the city for some fun. Restaurants and parks are A1 residents live an active lifestyle here.
I was told when I first moved here “don’t get trapped in the bubble”. Well, I’ve been trapped since 2012 lol but it works for me since I hate driving! I consider it a bubble because I don’t have to leave The Woodlands for anything! I have healthcare, all of my favorite grocers, a variety of stores, tons of parks and walking trails, oh and did I mention the concert venue? I love it! I feel like I’m going on a road trip whenever I have to get on the highway to go outside of The Woodlands 😂. Everyone I’ve met is super friendly, my children are happy and it’s nice to go places and see familiar faces.
It's a good place to live and work (I work there). Homes are surprisingly affordable too. If you'd ever like to know more, I work in the real estate industry (not an agent, but I know many). God Bless you.
The funny thing is the people who say “The Woodlands bubble” are ones who do not live in The Woodlands. My husband and I moved to The Woodlands 15 years ago when our kids were in elementary school. When I told my coworkers that we wanted to live in The Woodlands, very much every single co-worker gave me the warning “oh, be careful if you want to live in The Woodlands because there are lot of rich spoiled kids there and you don’t want your kids to associate with those”. Well, they were not wrong about rich kids, but spoiled? No. My daughter was invited to a few birthday parties where the parents hired professional chiefs to cook at the party and Lush store coming to entertain guests with Lush beauty products and giving out beauty goodies bags to all guests. However, those kids were amongst the most respectful children I have ever come across: they always responded to you as “yes, ma’am” and “no, ma’am”. Our children almost finish college at Texas A&M, and my friend asked if we want to sell (downgrade) our home, we told her we won’t move anywhere. We want to live here so our grandchildren can enjoy The Woodlands like we do.

We have some good friends there, and it is a lovely development. Beware that there's a lack of diversity and a very high percent of conservatives. If that's your thing, then move there.

I live in the Woodlands; I moved here for the schools. Best decision of my life.
I have heard your sentiments often....

Beautiful place, no riots, no lootings, no loudness, just peaceful and calmness with elegant people.
Woodlands is beautiful

It's not as great as you think.
Im a single guy and just bought a house in Panther Creek. I rented in the area for two years and love it here.
Thanks for the comment. Where are the good single hot spots?
Where do single people go Hughes landing?
@@lvbadboyomg I want to know too! Lol where do singles hang out ?
I watched Bob Dylan and Paul Simon at woodlands pavilion back in ‘99 I think. Love it
That would have been memorable concert for sure!
Did I see $18.50 per $100 in value? Is that 18.5% or am I confusing something?
I live in the woodlands it’s amazing only thing missing is diversity and alot more socializing with the younger community
I appreciate the comment. The bubble does appear to be real.....but you're right in that it is an amazing area. Thanks again for watching.
There’s nothing wrong with communities of like-minded people wanting to be near each other -they exist everywhere in all cultures.
What do you mean by diversity?

Bubbles are good
nice video
Thanks for the visit
@@WhereToMove my pleasure) & ty for the great video.
The Woodlands is nice, I would stay in the Woodlands bubble too, most of Houston is a dump. Only morons would think staying in a nice bubble was bad.
Get a life. I live 2 miles from Downtown along Allen Parkway. Far from being a dump.
@@ljacobs357He said most, where you are talking about is prime real estate
