- Organizing and ADHD Specialist Leslie Josel of Order Out of Chaos works with compulsive hoarder and Elvis impersonator, Cary, who spends his days collecting Elvis memorabilia. But volatile relationships with friends and a paralyzing obsession with the king of rock and roll has left his New York City apartment virtually uninhabitable.
It pissed me off to no end when Cary's so called friends were yelling at him. YOU DO NOT YELL AT SOMEONE WHO HAS A MENTAL ILLNESS. I should know. I suffer through the same thing. I wouldn't allow anyone to come into my house and talk down to me. AH, HELL NO!
cary ... you are a lovely person. I hope you have been able to continue your path of lessoning the anxiety in your life. I have found that having things neat and organized (sort of lol) makes me feel calmer. I hope it does for you as well.

This guy is one of the few on these shows that I hope made it through. I really want to know he's happy, healthy, loving life and Elvis.
Hi Para. I wish I knew as well. I did keep in touch with him for about a year afterwards and he was keeping his space clean, safe and functional. THen we lost touch. His number was no longer working and yes, I think about him a lot. I've done many of these shows and have had many clients but this particular one really stuck with me. thanks for caring.
Leslie Josel Thank you for responding. I think (or maybe want to believe) that if he was able to keep his space safe and liveable for a year, then he greatly increased his chances of staying that way for the extra long term. Thank you for helping him.

Joe and francesca are not true friends I think they are bullying this guy. A true friend would not shout at this poor man like that they are disgusting, he needs people who understand him and will treat him right with respect this poor man possibly has aspergers syndrome and depression because of his meltdowns it's so sad he is vulnerable and needs help it's so sad watching him
I didn’t finish the episode on tlc because it upset me to seen them throwing their god around at him and using religion to validate their inhuman attitude towards. I think all things considered this was the best possible outcome. Would love an update on those Cancers and poor Gary

This man needs the Lord in his life, not Elvis. He has made Elvis his idol and the Bible clearly states that we are to have no other idols before thee.
