HIM - The Kiss Of Dawn | Live @ JBTV

Formed in 1991, Finnish rock outfit HIM, are no strangers to putting on an outstanding show. They have expanded their horizons past Finland, and especially reached high popularity here in the United States, being close friends with our own JBTV music director Greg Corner and professional skateboarder and TV personality Bam Margera, and being featured on the CKY videos, and Jackass. HIM brought their unique blend of gothic rock to the JBTV Studios, which included Ville Valo on lead vocals, Mikko "Linde" Lindström on guitar, Mikko "Migé" Paananen on bass, Janne "Burton" Puurtinen on keyboards, and Mika "Gas Lipstick" Karppinen on drums.
While at JBTV, HIM performed "The Kiss Of Dawn," a track from their 2007 album Venus Doom.

Ville is one of my inspirations as a lyricist and songwriter. This man is a modern day poet... I like his Edgar Allan Poe influence and other writers of the macarbe... unfornately I never had the chance to see them live.
