The just released xHP transmission tune for the 330i G20. Makes a huge difference with my custom engine tune, cause it feels like it freed up like 20-35whp (~like 2-3 PSI boost), depending on what drive/shift mode your in. Sport+/S mode is insane - in this mode, default xHP shift programming is kind of wack (in D/S mode it likes to hang out around 4K RPM), but when I drive in M, manual mode, I keep revs low around 2K-2500RPM, and still have extraordinary throttle response and gobs of power; still pulls hard at 90+MPH. xHP will definitely help with Jb4 too. I did a quick review on my channel.

But the ECU/DME NEVER see's the JB4 as it intercepts at the sensors so boost levels stay stock with no history of anything abnormally high. Unlike a flash where this is not possible and they can see it's been flashed by looking at the flash counter. The only way to read actual boost would be through the mobile app/data cable since it reads from the JB4. Wanted to just clear this up because there is a lot of confusion and missinformation out there. @rearwheeled Great review! Could you use the JB+ on a 2021 330i? Is it also fine to use regular fuel when using it. Also your car is putting up nice numbers especially with the rwd model. I'm sure it's a lot of fun!

I dunno I’m not a journalist but on my first attempt in my 2020 loaded xdrive was able to easily clip off a 4.46 on my draggy and I know I could do better

Great question to bring up for the comments! Map 2 runs extremely smooth. I was surprised that it never felt jolty or confused. I haven’t been running map 3 for too long but it’s a bit more power ready and can feel a little jolty. It reminds me of jb+, so not bad but not as steady as Stock.
Bm3 is your best option for that, you can get burble tunes and rolling anti-lag and stuff like that. Jb4 on the other hand is just tricking the motor into turning up the boost.

It’s not undetectable , if bmw really did some digging they can find that you’ve been running extra boost. But would they check? Most just do the oil change and quick warranty service then let you go. I’ve already taken my car to bmw for an oil change and had no issues. Plus warranties do not work that way. They don’t just “void” your whole warranty but they “can” refuse replacing a certain part, let’s say a chargepipe, because that could’ve been affected by jb4. Will they actually refuse? That just varies on how strict your dealership is and how much they dig. Still, It is safe, it’s been used by plenty of Owners throughout the years but you also have to do your part and use it safely and according to the recommended perimeters.
Go for a 2020 M340. Unfortunately the 2021 Model lost a lot of the sound. I test drove one before getting my car and was underwhelmed. The 2020 sounds much better.

Yes, I’m in California where I’m limited to 91 octane so definitely best to improve the fuel quality with E85.

yes, this jb4 is for the b48 AND b58 so you're all good. I'm running this on my 19 330i with map 3 and 3.5 gallons of e85 and 93 octane.

Nope, you just need to have jb4 connected to the car and it will always be on. Your phone is only to read your logs and change your map.

Might just be an issue with your device then because I use both my iPhone and IPad to connect to Jb4 without any problems.
