Seems like i cannot plug the rainbow plug into the tmap. It only has 3 pins instead of 4 on my 2021 g21 320i.The map sensor has 4 pins where you connect the brown wires instead of 3 on your video. So i need to connect them orherwise then you have. Is this possible?
How risky is it to tune your car? I have a 2020 g20 330i M Sport with a downpipe. I’m considering adding a tune.

Bro i got my engine light turned on in my 2020 330i xdrive. It’s probably because of front grill. I saw the grill was simultaneously geting open and closed. But the main thing is I don’t know about the device which shows the code for the engine light. Can you make a video on that and suggest me a cheap and best device too
Hi I just installed my jb4 but after installing I was trying to connect it via Bluetooth on the app but it would give me a error saying “ kit not owned “ I did buy it used but was told everything should transfer over to the car u put it on . Any advice ?
The previous owner must’ve forgotten to disconnect their jb4 account from the jb4 bluetooth. Ask them to give you the account and password or you can contact jb4 themselves and probably get unlocked somehow

Did you consider the Dinan V2 tuner? I'm on the fence between the JB4 and the Dinan tune. As Dinan offers a 5yr/50k new car warranty. Not sure what it's all about in terms of that. But sounds solid lol. I will be looking forward to your next video of your impressions bro!
I decided to go with JB4 because they are a slightly better priced. With Dinan it may be worth it if you live near an authorized Dinan Shop because they will have to be the ones to repair your car if the Piggyback causes any damage.
I think people get worried that a piggyback like jb4 completely ends all warranty coverage under BMW. You still have your warranty even if they discover the piggyback and really they will only deny coverage if the issue can be linked to the modification you made.
What numbers did u get with map 2?

I went with JB4 because I’m in a 2021 and currently the ECU is not unlockable by anyone. But to answer I wouldn’t say it’s safer, they are both really reputable options so I would consider them both to be fairly safe if you use them as intended and follow proper guidance. They are just different. JB4 is a piggyback and can be removed manually before taking to a dealer so many feel that it’s a safer to not be flagged by the dealership. Can the dealer still find out you’re using one? I’m sure they can if they look hard enough and see your logs and the amount of boost you’re producing, ect. but I don’t think many will look that hard without you already having a serious and expensive problem that needs to be fixed under warranty. Its the same with BM3, yes they can detect if they are looking but who’s to say how often they look? Could be often at one dealership and almost never at another.
@@rearwheeled8147 if you don't mind I'm gonna educate you on jb4. Jb4 is absolutely 100% untraceable by a dealership. It's post ecu so it does not show any increased boost on the ecu. Your ecu will not at any moment display higher readings than normal.

Yes its usually safe with 93 alone but check your trims and afr when logging. Each car may handle a map a bit differently. Feel how the car is handling the extra boost, if it’s not feeling smooth you may decide to add a little e85 or go to a lower map. But you should be fine

@@rearwheeled8147 I still love the car I am coming from a Nissan rouge so it's a huge upgrade. I also got the adaptive cruise. I noticed you can't add it on the 330 anymore.
Yeah but you would need an extra 10k to 15k hanging around… i got a used 2021 g20 with a sports package with 5k on the dash. I traded in my 2014 f30 worth 10k it brought it down my total price to about 32k. Unless your cool with paying nearly $1000+ a month I think you made out good.

Jb4 is honestly the better option on the end. More control, more power if desired and a code reader built in. Jb+ is nice for the budget but jb4 all the way

I sold my jb+ after i purchased jb4, no need for both.
Jb4 is nice because if you can customize quite a bit adjust settings to match your car. But there is default maps to play with. I usually went around in Map 2 when i first purchased. If you do buy i feel like the bluetooth connection is a must to keep track of your logs

Will this void a lease? Also will bimmercode or any coding void a lease or warranty?
The warranty does not just get completely voided based on coding or a piggyback but they may deny a warranty claim if they link an issue or damage to the mod you made. Say you get a piggyback and you push it to hard and end up with a blown chargepipe, ect. BMW may look at your car, run some tests and notice you had increased boost levels with jb4, they may then deny to cover your chargepipe. But if the issue had nothing to do with jb4, coding, ect. then your warranty will cover it.
@@rearwheeled8147 ok, I was planning on coming sport plus, better exhaust pops, and some minor aesthetic things on mine. Does bimmer code have a setting that is just the default so if I do have an issue I can quickly reset it?

Nothing at the moment besides coding in Sport Plus which makes the exhaust a bit more aggressive and coding in an option to keep the exhaust valve open.

You need to be able to afford it. Jb4 and down pipe will get you pretty close to a stock 340 sans the 15k difference.
