Just want to say that I enjoy your videos and learn a lot from them. I travel a lot, and went to Bogota last month, my first time in Colombia. Going to Thailand in February for the first time too. Curious what you would have said about Guadalajara and Mexico City. I've been both places but for short visits, four or five days. Mexico City is my favorite place so far, but Guadalajara seems more livable (unless you need the big city vibe).
I appreictae that. They're both very good cities. Mexico City is a great base for flying and to be in a major modern urban capital and Guadalajara is said to have slightly friendlier people
Mexico is incredible. The problem is that the same standard of living would cost at least twice as much in Mexico City as it would in Bangkok. Mexico is no longer a bargain destination. It's much more expensive than Colombia too, from what I hear.
I was living in México before coming to bangkok so I can confirm what you said is true for the level of luxury bangkok apartments offer it would be an easy 2.5-3.5X more expensive in México City
I’m from nyc. To live a high end life style is insanely expensive . Let’s say very nice apartment , nothing special is $5k-8k a month. It’s why I love Medellin so much. I get so much value in poblado , it’s clean and affordable high end restaurants. Are there any high end poblado sections in cali ?
Cali is even cheaper brother, I love south Cali (valle del lili, ciudad jardin, cañasgordas) although it's very suburban so for short stays around the San Antonio area has some high end places and close to the action as well
Cali is not as beautiful forsure but personally I prefer the layout of the city (south cali) a more a lot more open space, parking lots, parks etc. Makes it much easier for driving.
Thailand is my home now. The vibe cannot be beat. I finally invested in my lifestyle and got a condo here and also in Cebu City. Beautiful views and good times.

Cali is not beautiful like Medellin. I think he was just referring to towns with lots of beautiful women.

cali hella dangerous. avoid. we had a driver strapped the whole time we were there. never walked alone without him. only went there to see family.
