  • Follow me through some of the most amazing trails in the Uinta's as I summit the tallest peak in UTAH! This was my first ever solo backpacking trip and it was a HUGE success. I had blast prepping for, traveling to and hiking this Peak. I started this journey from the Henry's Fork Trailhead. Day one I arrived about 5pm and hiked about 6.5 miles in. Day two I was back on the trial by 5:45am and arrived at the summit at 10:20am. After a short break at the summit I packed all the way out. Getting to my car around 6:20pm. I spent just under 25 hours on the trail it's self, 15.5 hours hiking. The trail came out to 25 miles long with 3,200 ft of elevation gain.

Yo! Love it! And love your postcards. I missed the short cut from Gunsight Pass last time and there was a major rock slide that stopped me from continuing. What’s the best thing to use to navigate the trail?

I have been using the app called Alltrails to plan my hike and I use Strava to track my milage and route. those seem to work for me. Im consider an app to plan my hikes, any recommendations?

Hi, Great job first of all. I think it’s so amazing that you did it solo and then camped alone I admire you doing that so much! I was thinking of doing it all in one day but maybe not, your thoughts on that? Again, great job!! Great video!! Safe Travels

Hiking King's Peak in a single day is one of my goals too! The elevation is a big factor in all of it. It's doable, id just recommend starting really early! The first 8 miles are relatively flat and easy, the difficulty follow. If you get to do it I'd love to hear about your experience!

Did you hang your stuff when you left it at your campsite? I hate rodents eating my stuff

Yes I hung my stuff in my hammock while I as hiking the summit. I definitely didn't want any rodents getting into my pack!
