People dont understand how much work a youtube video takes to make. Especially the editing part. Try not to feel too much pressure! Post when you can :)
Milo is so adorable bouncing along in the sand! I love his white beard 🥰
Finally had time to watch this. Your backpacking Yosemite vlogs are the best!! What a lovely experience! The views you had were gorgeous! Thank you for sharing this with us!
Thanks ❤ it
Thanks for watching!
What are the tube item I see most smart prepared hikers are wearing for before I make my dream trip there??Is it for oxygen or water. appreciate any answers on this item I see most are caring when they put it to their mouth I'm wondering if it's for oxygen or water. Appreciate any answers from you all my friends.
It a camel back for water! Just an efficient way to drink water while you hike!
@ Smart. I will add this to my supply's when I get to do this dream hike after winter.Loved to see how one can enjoy solo like I do for loving life & the gift of as I do every week get to walk in the forest by were I call home .Thank You.👉✊🇺🇸
Can you hook an external battery source to THIS battery to extend the warmth?
You can recharge it it with an external battery, but it recommend only using the Venustas battery to power it?
I empathize with your sentiment at the end regarding creating content. From 2017 - 2018, I made a lot of travel vlogs and burned myself out with it. It honestly distracted me from being in thr moment, because I just wanted to capture the right moment or have the right angle. I was living to much through the camera. So definitely encourage that reflection and change. Put your capacity as your priority. Thank you for the inspiring videos.
Thank you for watching! Its nice to know that I'm not the only experiencing this!
Nice to meet the two of you. Milo looks like a fun companion and he kinda stole the show. I "have a thing" for jackets (and backpacks, and camera bags)...and I gotta say, I love all those pockets! Thanks for sharing. Enjoy Life. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
He is a great companion, since we brought him home he has definitely "stolen the show" lol. I really love this jacket, I use it all the time!
I was waiting for a clip of your zoomies and you chewing on a stick 🙂. We just got back from doing our R3. Definitely the hardest thing I have ever done. We had to come back up SK because BA was closed and that just sucked but it was awesome to be in the GC again. You are so fortunate to be out west. Take your breaks, prefer content that you are enjoying making vs. content you feel you need to make. Enjoy your perspective on things, insights into places I didn't know about and of course your cute little floofy sidekick who drinks smart water 🤣
lol im too old to get the zooms like he does and I can't say that im fond of the taste of tree bark in my mouth ;) lol. Congrats on the R3!!! It is absolutely the hardest hike I've ever done, nothing else even comes close! I can't imagine coming up SK that must have been tough, you probably had to carry a lot of water too. Thank you for the support! I truly love living in this beautiful state, there is so much to explore. my little goof ball will be in many more videos! Don't worry the smart water bottle had tap water in it lol. I just keep some smart bottle around for backpacking because they are light and easy to replace!
@@trailandtravel we had 2.5L Bladders and I went through about 7L. Temps were nice and cool (I had a 32-degree long sleeve on that never came off). I like the smart bottles because they fit nicely in my hand 🙂
how many miles hike?
I think it was about 6 total!
It's always nice to take your dog out, getting some good experience with Milo just keep on pushing for longer journey's. Keep up the good work, and keep on going.
Thank you!
You do you! There’s a real need for time to rejuvenate with a camera in you. Don’t feel guilty if you can’t work yourself to an insane degree.
Thank you!
How many miles is that
It was just over 50 miles!
It's the most boring and not interesting video of all about French Polynesia!
I’m sorry you feel that way. This was me sharing my experience at this one spot in moorea, and not a full documentary of all French Polynesia.
Nahhhhh, imma admire from videos, national geographic, utubers, calendars, pictures.. etc..
Fair enough!
Hello Utah from Idaho! Thank you for your great video! We are going to the Le Bora Bora next July. What time of year did you go? Any other tips that you didn’t include in your video? Thanks!
Thank you! We went in December! I’d recommend buying anything you might need like sun screen or aloe before you get there! It’s insanely expensive when you’re there. I hope you have a great trip! Take advantage or the excursions, they are a blast!
Mt. Zion is one of the most beautiful national parks we have in America. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves the outdoors? But as this video states, safety first always these national parks are no joke!
Safety first! 🙏🏼
Thank you for sharing your journey!
Thank s for watching!
Sorry if I missed this, what month did you visit Moorea? We are going in January and I wanted to get an idea of what to expect on a daily with the rainy season Thanks!
We were there in December!
Your stream of reflection was beautiful. I was rooting for you from the start and you pulled through just as I had knew you would! By the way, the Valley also has Peet’s Coffee in Curry Village! All that’s missing is a 7-11! (kidding!) Loving your videos! Keep on, keepin’ on! ✌🏼
Thank you for watching! Great to hear there are other coffee options. It’s a must while traveling! ;)
@ You’re so welcome! All the employees at either Starbucks or Peet’s are employed by the concessions and not by the coffee company, for what it’s worth 🙂
Did y'all check in with the visitor center? Zion nps site mentions asking which archeological sites are open to the public. We asked the east gate rangers on the way from bryce thru zion back to vegas but they seemed to think this wasn't open.
There wasn’t any signs at the trail head showing it was closed. There were also other people on the trail so I’m assuming it was open. I’ve never seen a sign that said it was closed on the trailhead.
Great video i hiked it this year a few storms hit but i made up. Thanks for the memories
Im hoping to do it again next year, so I can get an actual view!
Congratulations on hiking the highest peak in utah. Have you done the Ben Lomond peak its alot easier then kings peak. Thanks for video.
Thanks! I've actually never done Ben Lomond!
@trailandtravel yeah it's a great hike up and back.
@@joelewis5703 that's awesome ill have to check it out!
Great video. I'd prefer to sleep outside, though. Luv the interesting information
Thanks! It would have definitely a lot colder outside! 🥶 but it was a fun trip!
My maiden name is Watkins. This is neat to see. Also, just curious are you ever nervous about any wildlife you might encounter?
I have never had any negative or scary experiences with wildlife. For the most part they just keep to themselves. I have had times where I was really nervous but nothing ever happened!
@@trailandtravel thanks for the reply. Glad no scary encounters with wildlife! I love your videos!
@@brookefurnari Thank you! Im glad to have you here!
How fast do you think I read
You can watch it a few times 😅
Great recommendations and well done video New subscriber here.
Thank you!
Where is the location of the trail
It starts in the whiting campground in Mapleton, Utah.
Lovely place. Subscribed
Thank you!
It looks like a rocket. We probably got the designs from that.
It’s a pretty unique design!
I did it solo in 2 days alone. It almost killed me, The last half mile I was hallucinating
This hike is no joke! I was hallucinating for the last few miles. lol.
@@trailandtravel What city are you in? I did a lot of climbing: Mt. Washington three times, Mt. Madison twice, Grand Canyon three times, and a few more.
I've done this hike many times and your video is great! Where did you get the inserts that protect your feet from rocks? Thank you.
Thank you! The inserts came with a pair of Altra superiors that I bought in the past. I’ve looked all around for these type of inserts since then and have had no luck in finding them..
Have you done WURL yet in Utah?
No I haven’t!
What state?
Nevada
@@trailandtravel awesome, thanks!
Whed did you go there? Its better in july or october? Thanks
I’d say October would be much better! Not as hot!
When did you go there? What's the best period of the year?
I went in July and it was so hot! I’d recommend spring or fall!
You most definitely Rock … 😊
Thank you! 😊
Great Video! I really like you hat, where can I find it?
It’s from Colombia, the outdoors brand! I got it a few years back but then probably have a more updated better hat like it!
Great video! Such a cool hike. My husband and I did a rim to River in late September. While it was hands down one of the coolest things I’ve ever done, I want to underscore for others who want to hike the canyon how important it is to research, plan, prepare, and train for these hikes. We saw a lot of people in really bad shape on trail and at the bottom. Temps at phantom in the shade were 101 on 9/25/24 and even today 10/9/24 high down there is going to be 98. Have fun but prepare and stay safe! Don’t underestimate the canyon.
Thank you! I completely agree with you. I have heard so many stories of people who are unprepared heading down into the canyon and having a very difficult time getting out. Preparation is KEY!
Another great video! Please do a logistics/route planning overview of this trip ❤
I can absolutely do that! is there anything you'd like to know specifically so I can include it in the video?
@@trailandtravel What mapping tools do you use to plan and what are some recommended sources for research on a backpack destination? Customizing a route based on one’s skill/comfort level? Thanks!
Love this was just out west and was begging to do angels landing I was to late to sign up sadly we didn't get to do it maybe this year
That's a tough time of year to get a permit! I hope you get to do it someday though, it's incredible!
Admirable!
Thank you! It was a great hike!
Gorgeous!!❤❤❤
Thank you! It was wonderful!
Amazing
It truly was!
Another amazing adventure and great video!! Love the mindset!! I also revisited your Wilson Mountain vid last week, because I'm planning to do that and Rim to Rim in a couple weeks - can't wait =)!!!!
Thank you for watching! Good luck with Rim to Rim, its an incredible hike!
Great video!!
Thank you!
A most beautiful hike and narration. :) Is there a map, that you can direct me to, that goes from Mirror Lake, Snow creek, to Sunrise and Cloud's Rest, or that what you took?
Thank you! Im going to do a logistics and planning video on this hike, ill share my alltrails map that I used so you can see the whole route that I did.
It's all about the Journey not the Destination.
yes absolutely!
Woah it looks like a tourist postcard 😍 it takes my breath away 😇 it's awesome you enjoy your hike and you took your time but made it to sleep and have an awesome sunset🏕 and walk to a wonderful sunrise 🌄😃 It perfectly work out 😃 I hope your recover your muscles well and quickly 😊 Thanks for sharing your beautiful videos I love them😊 take care 😇
Thank you for watching! It was such an incredible trip, I have fallen in love with Yosemite!
@@trailandtravel That's awesome when you try an other time and your whole experience have change for the better 😃 also thank you for sharing because those images you capture make me want to experience many hike in Yosemite 😊
This was incredible! Every time I have gone to Yosemite, it has been a mess so I had kind of wrote it off in my mind; just not meant to be. Now? Wow! It is definitely back on the list of must do places! Thanks for a great share!
It's defiantly still a mess! lol but I think if you can get into the back country its pretty magical! Thanks for watching!
