That trick on preventing him from teleporting was key in beating him. After that, his attacks became a lot more manageable. I closed the game for about an hour because I'm being decimated by these two brothers but after this video, I re-specced back to my STR build and won.
As someone who has watched you do this fight probably a hundred times, it's really cool to understand why the mechanics are happening in the way in which they are happening. Very well done, Loreena, already loving the high value content.
I can't even imagine how many deaths it must've taken for someone to completely master its A.I and breakdown its mechanics this seamlessly, this is the most extensive guide on this boss that I've ever seen.
I am so glad my video helped you! Lorian does teleport as soon as you're in his peripheral vision, so in order to stop him from teleporting you have to be precisely behind his back. This is not easy and can take some time to pull off properly! And after you've attacked there is a bigger chance you'll end up in his vision again, especially if you're using a slow weapon.

I also worked towards hitless, got my Personal Best of 1 hit fairly quickly to then not be able to play anymore because of bad hand issues I got so I couldn't hold a controller for a long time 😭 which is why I started doing the dance pad stuff though so that's at least one positive haha

If anyone still can't do it, check out the bottom of the stairs trick. Basically, if you are in the right spot when he first goes down, they won't be able to see you and they will just stand there and you can keep shooting the older one until they die.

Im not sure if they patched it out but the no teleporting trick and the rolling at the fog gate trick doesnt work, they just teleport and attack me anyway.
Finally committing myself to play through DS3 and the advice absolutely holds up. First 3 or 4 fights I was just getting knocked around. Watched the vid and got the kill two attempts later. Just staying behind them as much as possible was all I needed after all. Barely any magic attacks to dodge, too

I remember my previous character, I finally rage quit after being stuck for so long against Sister Friede and Lothric/Lorian. After watching your videos I already beat Sister Friede (and also Nameless King, btw) with my new character. And I just beat Lothric/Lorian on my first try, without cheese but definitely your good advice. Thanks a lot. Now, on to Midir! ^^

on last ember, i youtube search 'lothric prince guide' and i watched a video where the guy said 'yeah just dodge the attacks'. now with no embers, youtube recommends this video which actually explains how the fight works lol. great job but i am moderately steamed at youtube as a platform at the moment.

A trick I use is you could always dodge towards the sword as he swings horizantly in his 3 attack combo dodge about when he brings up his arm and it works really well, also works on the dancer too
I actually like the teleport mechanics of the twins because I have played games where you have teleport bossing exploiting it at random times to annoy you (looking at you Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep). But still good content vital for those new to mechanics like these ^^
If you position yourself to stand behind the boss when phase 2 starts he won't move or do anything, so you can just stand in the same spot and shoot arrows in his back until he dies. (Only works with normal arrows, and if you hit the wrong brother they'll wake up).
I really REALLY love your videos, you helped me with two damn bosses i would never been able to defeat without your tips! The first one was the mf Flamelurker in my very first run of Demon's souls :')
