      It's called rev hang, the car holds the revs for a little bit between shifts in order to stay in the power band or VTEC while going into next gear, I have a 2009 manual TSX, and it pulls so hard when shifted at redline with throttle wide open, thing is a beast !

      Hey Mark, I'll have to check hers out but this is absolutely 100% my video. I have two kids and two dogs and the TL is a super fun car in SH-AWD with the 6speed manual but it's a pretty poor family vehicle. My motorcycle is the toy I kept so the TL was traded in on a Pilot Touring (which I have secretly fallen in love with). I did this 0-100 run the morning I traded it in as my farewell to a fun car.

    • @alexmoores7331
      @alexmoores7331  7 лет назад +4

      thanks man. I have two boys in car seats and two dogs and my wife can't drive stick (which was great cause she couldn't drive my car! but bad cause she couldn't even move it out of the driveway if I parked her in) so it was pretty worthless for a family car for me. car seats barely fit in the thing and the front seats have to be all the way up for that, it was awful. Super fun car but bad in traffic, and i commute an hour each way in heavy traffic. at 85k miles it started getting a really bad valve tick in the rear bank too. so i enjoyed it while I could but i traded it for a pilot touring which has been a huge improvement for my family life and actually costs less to fuel up. i miss it but it needed to go. once the pilot is paid off i'll buy a C6 corvette or a 5.0 mustang GT or something else fun like that. I've never owned an american muscle car so i want my next fun car to be a dedicated fun car with a V8 and rwd. in the meantime i just ride my motorcycle when i wanna have fun.
