Baiju chetta present fortuner is 2.8L 204 bhp and 500nm torque in AT .So if you said 201 bhp and 500nm torque so power will goes down in MHEV?
204 bhp is peak power, we wont be able to use that raw power in lower rpms. When it is hybrid, the extra bhp and Nm he mentioned from electric motor will be available at lower engine rpms also. So it will give more practical power and Nm.
@@praveenpgec Bro i comment on the specification what he said and actual. Now fortuner power specfication is 204 bhp and mhev had 3 bhp less ie baiju bro said 201 okay. A mild hybrid system shoulders some of the electric load of the gasoline-fueled internal combustion engine using a small electric battery feeding a low-output electric motor. These are most commonly referred to as 48-volt systems. Although it can’t power the car on its own, the 48-volt MHEV system usually starts the car and also brakes or slows it. During the braking process, the MHEV recovers the kinetic energy created as the vehicle slows.This is called regenerative braking. That energy is transformed into electricity and stored in the MHEV’s battery. The MHEV system then draws on that stored energy to help the ICE accelerate the car from a standstill. So it will not have much impact on Total bhp but it's help to assist Torque..
