Why do RUclips creators keep this negative narrative about ex players from Colorado? If you are pro Colorado, there are plenty of stories to report instead of this continued negative discussion on the program.
He wasn't singing that tune about player development before! Show his many tweets about wishing his son could stay at Boulder but he couldnt afford it!
The Dad has the right to diplomatically state the reasons for leaving. Two things can be true at the same time. His son wished he could stay at CU, and perhaps the development Dad implied was the prospect of getting playing time so his son could get NIL deals in order to pay the tuition at CU. It didn't happen, so his son had to transfer in hopes of getting a scholarship elsewhere. As a parent of a college student, the tuition is not the only costs, add: out-of-state fees, books, 7-day meal plan, dorm fees, lab fees, and basic necessities. The extra fees to actually attend a university like Boulder Colorado is astronomical. 💵🏈📚
@@nhast4life you’re absolutely right but the issue is taking shots at the program because things didn’t work out for you. You rolled the dice and things didn’t pan out…better luck next time.
Correct. If he doesn't have a scholarship, nothing else really matters. The rest is pot shots. This whole idea about development is overrated when put on the coaching staff. In my opinion, development is for position camps. You know...the kind that we hear about these promising QBs going to. Team practices are for getting stronger, better at foot work and flexibility, and preparing for your next opponent.
Well cormani is a walk on at Florida, and the University's collective is actually paying for his tuition 🤣🤣🤣... Cormani is literally a walk on now... Don't believe me?, look it up... The NCAA is in trouble and smart programs are finding loopholes in this clusterfuck 🤣🤣🤣... Again, look it up if you don't believe me... You didn’t address what he said. He said he's concerned about player development at CU. Regardless of what he meant putting that out there with no details is messy. Intentionally. If his son got a scholarship he would still be there so why not move on and say thanks for the opportunity!

Why would he go to CU as a walk-on knowing that not having a scholarship would be an issue? I don't believe the issue about player development due to the length of time Solomon was at CU. A scholarship might have been offered if Solomon performed well during the 2024 season but now no one will know if that indeed would have happened. It happened with Charlie and might have also happened with Michael Harrison had Michael stayed.
The rules will change soon, watch... Schools are using nil/collective money to pay for athletes tuition lol... They are manipulating the system... Him leaving has nothing to do with him not being able to afford tuition...
Obviously, there are a lot of talented players at Colorado University who want to compete and be in the spot light. The competition is fierce and the rewards are great, but if you don't have the talent and abilities to compete against your competition you can't get angry at the coaches; you might have to relocate and find you a team that can use you and help you in the way you need to be helped. I played high school football and went to college to play but I just wasn't good enough (scrub) and it took me almost a lifetime to come to grips with that reality! I wish the young man well and for all those who are looking for a team to take them in.
Solomon's dad comments are interesting considering he mentioned a financial issue being the reason he left. Out of state tuition at CU is f'n high. My question, what type of NIL assistance is available for non- scholarship players?
Resources are limited at CU as 5430 club was just getting to where it needed to be. Other than the traditional resources, it would be difficult to survive without a scholarship or other support!
Theres a few teams consistently putting DBs in the NFL. Those have a bigger % of recruited HS players tho. Those schools program depends on developing them because they arent portal heavy as far as getting players.
He was definitely on of my favor CBs, he locked down everyone, I was shocked they wouldn’t offer him, he put in work just like Charlie did. Dude can ball
How were his grades? Coach wasn't playing favorites. There had to be some reason he wasn't offered a scholarship. We only catch a glimpse of these guys on highlight reels. We really don't get the full picture about their effort to maintain the standards when off the field. Wish him success wherever he lands. Walk ons generally have to pay their way until they've "earned" a scholarship. Cormani became a walk on at FL college. Sure he got NIL $$ dollars at CU. Now he's gonna have to pay unless a scholarship opens up.
@@debrahudson6324 His grades was above the legal gpa that the Institution requires. No athlete can be on any team if their grades aren't up to par. Therefore grades wasn't the problem. Coach Prime loves Charlie work ethic that's why he got a scholarship.

Player development!!!?🤣🤣🤣 I’m glad they have cameras around at boulder because you literally see coach Sanders coaching players up and the Same thing with Sapp😂 these parents are laughable
Player development. CP doesn't spend much time on development when he has a stable of transfers who are ready to play. CP seems to think it's up to the individual to develop those skills on their on - look at Kaleb Mathis for example, look at the CU back up QB for example. Inexperienced players never get a chance to get on the field during real games - instead Shaduer and Travis are kept in to pad their stats at the end of games when young players should be getting reps. CP doesn't care since he can get experienced players from the portal. The only way young players can develop is they get playing time - ain't happening at CU.
Player development is difficult when that many guys are shuffling in and out. There can only be so much time w these players. It should be fairly easy to spot if there is quality "player development" going on. The mechanics and fundementals will be being stressed. If tthey are simply bringing in guys and placing them in their sets in practice, they arent developing, they are simply placing guys. Should be easy to see at their practices.
