Joel Klatt is the best personality in college football. Loved watching him lead the Buffs at QB and watching become one of the best college football personalities is amazing. Love to see it.
7+ wins, with NO blowout losses, would be an awesome year. The main elements I look at are; are they competitive, are they IN every game they play, can they put teams away when the time comes (Stanford anyone?) and can they maintaine consistancy. This is only year two under Prime and year one in the BIG-12, so improvement from last year will evaluated.
Sanders has a serious issue though. Bringing in 40+ transfers every year without significant recruiting outside of high school is not a recipe for success. He’s gonna have to recruit at a high level if he wants to compete.
6-6. but it’ll be a shootout in most of the games. there’s gonna be one blowout loss with Gus Malzahn running circles around him. after that, maybe only 1 more but I expect them to only lose by a maximum of 2 1/2 possessions in the losses based off last year, they only face 3 top 50 defenses. Coach Prime has the right goals and priorities and he’s totally sincere about everything he says. He is confident and outspoken but many people don’t understand his style or manner of speaking and interpret it as arrogance. I think he is exactly what he seems to be. I hope he will lead CU football for years to come.
The audiobook is excellent. It’s like having Coach Prime in your living room or in your ears. So intimate and with a lot of love, tough love at times but nothing but the truth. Coach is so humble too. Admitting toward the end of the convo that he didn’t act on the advice of his many esteemed supporters. I found that inspiring, both the admittance and the acknowledgment that others may know more than he does. ❤
