      You seriously disappoint me @JoelKlattShow with your thoughts and the true media bias you had in Hiesman voting by never even truly considering anyone other than Travis. Travis Hunter is not even close to the best player in college football, let alone in either of the positions he played. For a person who played football I can’t believe you bend over to popular media this way with how long I’ve watched your show. He very clearly didn’t deserve to win the Biletnikoff award let alone even be in the running for it because he wasn’t even near the best WR in college football, simple consideration what are his receiving stat if you remove Hunters last game compared to the rest of the field, he needed a 52-0 full game played against a 3-9 OSU just to even be in the area of consideration for the award. I hate when players pads stats in games at the end of the season then everyone forgets the start/entirety of the year. Also Travis is playing with a talent like Shedeur Sanders at QB and those are his numbers? I love how the player you list as saying Hunter is the best in college football is Woodson, who happens to be both a DB and the last defense Hiesman winner. What about the fact that Barry Sanders the best RB ever in college football thinks Jeanty was the clear winner and is quite possibly even better RB than him. Hunter had the ability to try and impact the game on both sides of the ball with a Hiesman caliber QB with him and they still lost 3 games this year and the 2 they lost you multiple score were against sub .500 teams. If he was truly as good as advertised he would have been able to lead/carry his team to the CFP, or at the very least a Conf Championship Game appearance. Jeanty literally carried Boise State to a top 4 CFP seed and conference championship win, and if not for terrible special teams they would be the only undefeated team left not Oregon. Also when you speak of unheard/unbelievable things how about the fact Ashton Jeanty had 1,889 rush yards after contact, which was not only 200 more yards that any other RB had total in college football, but was also more than 115 FBS teams had in total team rushing yards. He did all this without have a Hiesman contending QB playing with him, and with every teams entire gameplay designed around stopping him and he still put up these numbers. Also if Jeanty played every game to the fullest to be sure and pad his stats he would have already eclipsed Barry Sanders rushing record. Also I hope that when Ashton Jeanty takes a college like Boise State to a national championship win, that you will give some better thought to your opinions/bias and will consider the players true skill and overall totality of work over the year. Also Travis is no Unicorn just because he was allowed to play both sides of the ball. Also the fact you acknowledge/think that Sanders was a top 3 Hiesman finalist and Travis was such an unbelievable talent but together they couldn’t produce even a Conference Championship Game appearance at Colorado is just solid proof of media bias on why Hunter was clearly not deserving. Been with the show since the start but this if my final view. Will keep an eye out though for a video on what you say about Jeanty when his year is over and he holding that CFP Championship Trophy.

      @@JoelKlattShow you're wrong. Ashton Jeanty has a pff of 95.8. which makes Ashton the highest graded Heisman candidate of all time. Higher than Joe Burrows who has a pff grade of 95. Travis Hunter has a pff grade of 85.5. making Travis Hunter the LOWEST GRADED HEISMAN CANDIDATE to ever live......
      Not to mention Ashton Jeanty has more rushing yards than 115 out of 134 FBS teams.
      TRAVIS HUNTER didn't lead a single FBS statistical category let alone did he outperform a single FBS team in any statistical category.

      I thought Travis should get it 100%. But I get why other people didn't. You want the Heisman winner to clearly stand out as the best at what he does. Travis wasn't clearly the best receiver, nor clearly the best corner, nor clearly the most impactful player (Shedeur was actually harder for CU to replace than Hunter).
      But come on, to be all-American on both sides of the ball has never been done before.

    Joe Klatt refuses to call the push back against Travis Hunter what is truly is and thats racism. Just because those voters who voted for Jeantty voted for a black player doesn't mean they supported a black player per se,they voted against Hunter because black americans and the culture supported him wholeheartedly. A prime example is Ali versus Frazier, black americans supported Ali unprecidentledly while white Americans supported Frazier and bigots included. Rappers and black celebrities poured into Boulder to see Colorado and Hunter and a certain demographic didn't like seeing that

    • @christianrapper5
      @christianrapper5 День назад

      It’s not racism. There was only one white person up there and no one was clamoring for the white guy to win. It’s Sanders hate. Saying it’s racism is putting down the other black nominees. I don’t care if you’re black or not. If you’re black that just makes it worse.

    I think only people who played the game can only realize how mind blowing what he is doing. But what also amazes me is his Football IQ. He not only knew all the defensive plays but all the offensive plays too.. There are professional football players who don't know all the plays who play just offense or defense only players as well. We have never seen anyone do that and at an elite level. On every snap. Some people will just never accept that or see it. No matter how much you try to explain it. And that's sad. We've seen what Jenty was doing. Barry Sanders. And he did it in 11 games. We've seen great quarterbacks before. But we've never seen a Travis Hunter before. That's the checkmate.

You know, I am a lifelong democrat who voted for a candidate (Kamala Harris) that I really didn't want to be our candidate. Offense:

    1,152 yds (6th in FBS) with 14 TDs (2nd in FBS) and 3 drops
    21 20+ yd completions (1st in FBS)
    Defense:
    Thrown at 39 times this season, allowed 22 completions for 204 yds and 1 TD, in 343 (man)coverage snaps (targeted 11% for the season)
    4 Int (dropped 3 Int), 11 PBU, 31 Tkls (20 solo, 11 ast), 1 FF (GW)

Yes the best player can be running back, yes the best player can be a quarterback, but Travis Hunter didn’t just play both sides of the ball, he was elite on both sides of the ball And unfortunately, a lot of people didn’t watch Colorado play because of whatever reason, but once you watch it if you really are confused, it’ll make a lot more sense once you watch Travis Hunter play. But more importantly, when you watch how other coaches spoke about him. And how other coaches and players prepared for him. Double and triple cover him as a receiver, and as a quarterback, you are told not to throw on his side.

    Valid point. None of the other finalist are the first of their position to be drafted this year. Jeanty has stiff comp coming off the board in P4. Cam Ward is a coin flip with Sheduer. Who's getting drafted at WR/CB over Travis? Will Johnson? T-mac? Maybe if you asked last year.

    I wouldn’t vote for Hunter. It’s a fact that he put up great numbers, but it was against woefully inferior competition. Colorado played no highly ranked teams with multiple NFL level talent. He graded out the lowest of any Heisman Trophy winner ever. The truth is the truth.
