I remember when Coach said he was 22 or 23 and he and his stepfather went fishing on the side of the road Fishing. And there was a boat that came by, and his stepfather said he wanted a boat to go Fishing. And Coach Prime said he wanted a Lake at every place he OWNED HIS HOUSE! You do know that the same God that’s in Boulder is in Jackson? If God had wanted to, He had the power to do the same thing in Jackson, but that was not His will! Coach’s obedience to leave and go to Boulder was questioned, but He did what he believed God called him to do and when you do that, God rewards obedience even when it’s not popular!!!
There are far too many smart, productive, and important people in Jackson for people like you to put the advancement of the city on one man’s back who was never intending to stay there permanently! How did it become Prime’s responsibility to fix DECADES of political inadequacy, incompetence, and mismanagement of funds, resources, and infrastructure management? That’s unfair to him and highly unrealistic. He did his share while he was there and the rest is up to the thousands who still Iive there to pool their collective, talents, skills, and abilities to fix the issues where you live. He’s not obligated to save people who are griping, complaining, and blaming him for stuff that predates him!
He was humble and kept the FAITH!

Everything's coming down now, last year's $115,000 boat is under $90,000 now, the $100,000 Tritons are now in the 70s. White water marine has so much over stock it's stupid, all these companies road that covid wave where people were buying boats and fishing license more than ever in the history of EVER,!!, now that wave is subsiding and companies have a lot of overstock and are laying people off left and right and prices are coming down slowly but surely. It'll be like it was in the 90s here soon! $100,000 boats we'll be back to the $70,000 boats very soon. Mercury just fired 300 plus people in one of their main manufacturing plants! It'll take a little longer to get a boat because they'll actually have to build it instead of grab it from stock in the next year or two, and the prices won't be completely astronomical.. it will only matter to those who fish tournaments and get a new boat every couple years, to the average boat owner who only takes their boat to the water a handful of times a year it won't really matter, but at least it'll be cheaper for things like maintenance and parts if they ever need to work on anything they own already!

I don’t know about your generation I’m in my early seventies and most of the people I knew loved to fish 🎣. I’m sure there’s a segment of people who don’t but there’s always been a large fishing community among black folks. So this may be something new for some but for the most part we know fishing.
Yes. I'm close to 60, and as a kid, my entire family ( mom, dad, brothers, aunts, uncles & a ton of cousins and grandparents) would go fishing every Sunday. I started at age 6 or so & it was so much fun. We did this for years...
My best memories growing up was fishing with my uncle off the bridge in the Keys...my whole family would go most times
I think he was referring specifically to tournament fishing. There aren’t very many black folks in the tournament fishing industry. The few who are, are some of the more popular guys in the sport. There just aren’t very many.

I didn’t know fish was a color thing. I live in the keys we fish with whoever like to. As long as they are good people color absolutely nothing to do. It does not always come to what color you are especially fishing. If your a bad does not matter if your to Latin to white.

Was that done by a local artist or the gentlement sitting on the sofa (designer/artist)? That would be interesting content to highlight this artist's work or even show several local artists.

Where has Prime been? I'm from the country and my grandma and her friends used to go fishing every day. They loved it. Came home a lot of days with nothing. 😂😂😂 But that was their hobby.
Going to Texas with no fishing pole is like going to Las Vegas with no money.
Prime may actually need to boost the baitfish population in that lake or start culling out a bunch more of the smallest bass out. That way all the ones in there can grow as big as possible and you end up with more of the bigger fish being produced year over year.
