    Great projector. The price point is ideal for a entry level pixel shifting 4K UHD projector . The 4K movies on the streaming services look amazing when using the “Digital cinema “ mode. You forget that the image is coming out of projector sometimes . The smoothness of each frame is so fluid that you immerse yourself in the film or content your watching. EPSON did it’s job when focusing on a 4K home theater experience for budget friendly consumers . I highly recommended it.

      i want this PJ so much, my old 3020 is still runing after 7 years, but is time to upgrade.
      I love epson 24p processing, (no frame int). I have a sony bravia and 24p mode is less fluid, and with epson is like the 24p is going 48p, zero judder or vibration with pans!

    Good review, at price point, you are buying a $3000-$5000 projector quality features, only in $2000, could not find someone could better than this even in 2022 today.

    Does the 4010 have Geo Correction for curved screens?

    Projector central mentioned the input lag of 28 ms on this model might be an issue. Is it really a problem?

    It's worth buying for the motorized lens alone.

      It is really nice. However, the memory position software and mechanism doesn't work the greatest. I can't get it to find the exact position when changing from one memory position to the other (both the screen and the projector are in a fixed position). I always have to do some minor adjustments after for both zoom and position. I need to play with it more.

    Can I connect streaming device Google TV directly to 4010 considering it don't have hdcp 2.2?

    Great reveiw, but I didn't get your comment about the 2.4:1 cinemascope screen comment. Certainly, at this price, it doesn't have a built in anamorphic lens, right?

    • @markstenerson6851
      @markstenerson6851 2 года назад

      No anamorphic. But it has very large zoom and lens skewing. So with the remote it's easy to zoom the edges of your image to whatever hits the edge of your screen first. Zooming a 16:9 letterboxed image to a 2.4:1 screen will look great but the black pixels are wasted and off the screen.

      No projector has built in anamorphic lens. That is an aftermarket product you add in front of a projector lens.

    Any idea why a Firestick 4K Max won’t work when inserted into the 4010’s HDMI 1 port?
    BOTH are listed at providing HDCP 2.2.
    Am I missing something?
