I can see the advantage of not growing too fast. Those 'family fund' payments are killing the budget (40 per month now). I wonder if additional land expansions also add monthly maintenance fees? Need to maximize existing land and existing _town level_ before advancing or economic growth slows to a crawl. And I'm guessing the inaccurate forecast for food stocks has to do with your discovery that they stock 5 coal at a time. There are _technically_ 28 days of food until Agnes grabs 5 just for her house, then there's 23 days food left.... I guess the only way to fix that is to have 200 days of food in stock. 😉 Good episode!
Dude totally! They are greedy but maybe that's a hit accurate? Like they don't check each other cupboards before stocking the maximum allowable on their own. I'm not 100% sure on the upkeep of new territory, but Def on buildings. And the family fund seems to be something added to create balance pressure in the game economy Maybe? Thoughts? That said, nothing gets worse, no degrading or anything, so turtle strategy could easily work. Like just let the sim run and save up 10k gold
@@SolidContent I get the family fund (sims gov't upkeep of citizen services). Just hold off on that last house that tips you over into the next town level until you've made the most of the current spending level. And of course, just letting it run to bank some gold doesn't make for exciting RUclips, huh? Playing a game for yourself and playing to entertain is always a different experience.
I loved the narrator because you see I struggle to read a bit because of my disablity and I always build towards bob the talking tree that you get on every map. But you need to look for a browny, orange tree with a face. Lol
I like this game. For some reason it reminds me of Sean the sheep and Wallace and Grommit. Your voices were fantastic too. I wasn't a street performer but I was the lead in The Ziggy Effect at The Neptune Theater ( 30 years or so ago , lol )
@@SolidContent It's in Halifax , Nova Scotia , beautiful old theater. I was so terrified , I never did another play , lol. I ended up being in bar bands playing bass for 30 years but had to quit because of nerve damage in my wrists.

During the winter, when the crops are not growing, what does the game have the farmers do? Can you temporarily re-assign them somewhere for the non growing season?
I thiiiink you might have to micro that, I see them sitting on their benches outside, so they don't really seem to do much? I feel like there will be some updates there where maybe they become general purpose logistics workers... but currently, it looks like they just wait
What do you mean the game look up your game play this show the interaction built in that seems to be a back door cheat or hit on you not this it would be a breach of personal privacy so most likely it is a programmed thing to help out player in gameplay style in which is a awesome idea to keep the game fun.
honestly this issue with you is your building to fast on somethings and making it harder than it is for no reason and housing is good but for your design reason you are doing this and would be more productive to build the lumber yard over add homes and may be you would have more money for said hero build WHATEVER!
"Can you flirt too much?" As long as HR doesn't call you in to talk, you're good.
OR, if I can pay them off... Or maybe SEDUCE HR
@@SolidContent That tactic needs to be tested in real life.
Flirt away. That lady is DTF.
Down To Farm.
This is why i like watch you play no because you do it on purpose, but your style put the game to the test THANKS FOR BEING YOU.
Its JUST HOW I LIVE! haha

I had the Hobbit with the beautiful blue and green cover. It's a hard color combination to look good in, but whomever illustrated that one nailed it.
yesssssssss, I think I know the one! MAN those books bring back memories

lololol, and yeah it's always nice when the game is a bit more accessible that way

Good video on how not to build to fast just watching you.
Its a pretty calm game but i guess i will keep watching each episode and hoping that and orc horde will invade. Now THAT would be calming 😂
I DO agree, it's a bit easy and chill, which I quite love, BUT we definitely need to see some combat to be sure
Also, commoners and nobles are in the game, its not an update you need to wait for, its in the progression of gameplay unlocks.
ah yesss, it's just some of the wares they may require that I need to prepare for
Loving these!! Well done bud :) great watching :)
hey THANKS guy! Glad you like em, and hope you like whatever comes up next!

haha hey THANKS! I'd love to be
Nice village, but it seems like the type that would put a woman on a scale with a duck to find out if she's a witch.
hahah oh they are a deeply flawed people

@@SolidContent Easy enough to deal with. Thank you for the reply.
You seem to think houses must use 6 squares... the only require 4 squares. a 2x2 is fine and cuts down on wasted space.
you know I didn't even THINK of that... WOOPS
