Businesses should NOT be allowed to take up more than 50% of a PUBLIC sidewalk! IMO they shouldn’t be allowed to put tables on ANY part of a sidewalk. Thank you for your activism, stay safe out there! :) ❤
See anything this way is public. It's not private property. Cafes on the sidewalks to curb should never be blocked, its easement. Cities should get all it removed. The private business takes advantage generating revenue at the expense of the taxpayers. Cops enforcing the wrong laws. Busted!
That sidewalk is so narrow and further up the street there are planters directly blocking that strip. Restaurants taking over the sidewalk and road like that are annoying.

I reported them to the city for blocking the public sidewalks. Also, if you watch their servers, they don't care if someone is already traversing the sidewalk. They walk out in front of people trying to utilize the public walkway, almost running into people or looking at them like they need to allow the server the right of way.
