I waited 3 years for one, and I got it for christmas 2020, It was late but idc.
My switch comes on Wednesday and this helps so much!! I feel much more confident now and will be watching this video again when I get it!

I've seen a few of your "trying to fix" videos with the switch. I was curious, is the colored one you are using in this video the one where you bent it back into place, or is it the one you replaced the areas where the joy cons attach to the console?
You don't necessarily have to hold the power button to turn it on, all you do is click it once and it powers on.

I have the Nintendo switch
I absolutely love my switch. I bought one on black Friday along with Zelda BotW. My only gripe I have about the switch is that there's really no way to lock it to keep other people out or to help with anti theft. I ended up just setting up parental controls and locked all game types unless the pin is imputed. Not the best security but hey it works.

So. The blue joy con the joy stick of it it keeps getting stuck and I tried cleaning it and nothing works
Can someone give me some tips?
Get a cotton swab. Dip it in a VERY little bit of rubbing alcohol (any %) and rub it in between the stick and remote with little pressure to get it in between of the stick and remote :)

Hiii I have a question : "Is it possible to force the switch to choose Cable connection" when I put the switch in the dock ? Because right now when I turn on the switch in the dock each time I have to go to internet connection to choose "cable connection"

Do you recommend sleep mode or power off for when not using? Also, does handheld drain the battery more?
Yeah if you fully power off it closes your games (i think?) but it helps the battery life and I think handheld uses less battery

on the pc, yes, other switches idk but i think not

Only on pc. Other switchs tell you "HEY! THIS ISN'T THE SD CARD ASSIGNED TO THIS SWITCH. CAN I FORMAT IT?!" to prevent people from getting free games

Hello , I have a question that's well maybe to confusing. Here it is , I understand that the red & blue controllers can be attached to the hand heled small screen device. My question is this. the game system also has a ummm black thing shaped sort of like the old school controllers wing shaped that the controllers can be attached to. Can i use the controllers attached this way & play the game. Or does it have to be attached to the small screen device to play. I have never come across a video showing that it can be played with the controllers attached to the black thing.

Unrelated but I would love if some guy found a way to put a working headphone jack in one of the joycon s so that when you want to watch on the television and you can’t turn up the TVs volume but you could still hear you’re gameplay
King_Abel GameStop has a kickstand but it’s pretty much the same just metal

Nyco sells a replacement kick stand and the headphone thing won't work since the switch doesn't have Bluetooth other than the Bluetooth used for the joycons
