Tested it this morning, it's amazing. A great compromise between a heavy electric bike and a light muscular bike. You can totally ride it like a regular bike by switching off the engine. On flat my untrained legs can go up to 30km/h. But if you need a little push for a climb you switch it on and fly. I tested another eBike too but it was 3-4kg heavier and you just can't switch the engine off.
This bike looks amazing. The gravel bike is a thing of dreams. If you ever want a over weight, weekend warrior to review this Solace Gravel Bike and give you the average Joe honest opinion. I'm your man. If not then look forward to my review when I can eventually afford one when I retire in 2036 :-)
E-Road & E-Gravel make sense for steep gradients or in the US with 28mph speed limit. I do have an E-Gravel, but the motor is off most of the time due to 25kmh speed limit; on flat surfaces, my legs can pedal around 30kmh, with the 40mm tires!
I was discussing this with the Scott distributor for the Asian Market so not to sure if it's the same for Europe or North America. For the time being the battery extender will not be sold separately (reason unknown) for the Solace eride 20 and 30. So if you really want the battery extender it's best to purchase the Solace eride 10 which is included. I guess for the rest of us we have to wait.
bellissima ....ma i comandi dovrebbero essere tutti sul manubrio...levare le mani dal manubrio per cambiare i livelli di assistenza è pericoloso...una falla nella progettazione
Just so simple and elegant. Got on and get away from it. Frustrating there is no price mentioned! I have also learned from watching various emtb reviews (that put Scott bikes better than American competitors for great value\price) is that even though is sounds so American, “Scott”, is actually EU based!
Ha, ha. Great comment. But it is the most attractive bike I ever saw, even though I am in the market for a double suspension enduro, this just makes my mouth water. So elegant, this gravel package, compared with the mountain bikes.
Perhaps for some of us who have been riding since we were in our early teens and are now in our 60's with medical conditions or recovering from cancer it gives us great joy to be able to climb the hills again. Therefore don't look down on people who still have the money and want to enjoy the ride because one day you might live long enough to reach 60 and have a medical condition or worse cancer and understand what it feels like to be humiliated.
me? 75 and lung cancer but have been riding since my 40's and won't stop but am now considering a gravel e-bike. I've lost power in my legs and am always short of breath. This bike technology will help me stay outdoors, where I prefer to be.@@zafrullahyazid6542

I added an entry for 2036 in my calendar. Don't miss the date!

Yeah the EU regulation is retarded. It's like they've never been on a bike.
And with the beautiful scenary of Fribourg region 💪👌
Has it been released yet?
I want this and hope it will be released in Japan soon.
I would be very happy if it is under 700,000 yen if possible.
I need an alloy flat bar version of this to have the best commute ever! (ie a ev-version the Scott Metro or Orbea Rise)
Love this bike! When can I order from my dealer!
Very cool...thank you...Can you have "Daft Mullett" , Tony Fawcett , test one for us ?
Kje je road verzija iz vašega videa in naslovne slike z Sram RED AXS (2-speed chainrings) ?
What a beautiful bike ❤
when is the range extener going to be available ???????

Please update the Addict. Seriously it looks like its been drawn 10 years ago
great job bro...
Cost?
25 km/h is far not enough to join a group ride on the flats.
Didn't come with correct installation guide
😍
Isn't it ironic that at least two of these guys are wearing t-shirts that says 'No Shortcuts', all while discussing an E-bike?

Not sure what the point of an ebike with drop bars is.
But why?

The spirit of Ed Scott and his iconic aluminum ski poles lives on but Scott's branding is now owned by the South Korean Youngone Corp.
if you have no heart and balls this is perfect for you but everyone will know you are a cheater

Completely agree, gears are also for people too weak. Fixed/single speed bikes are the only true bikes. The rest are just a bunch of (slurs)

If you have no heart, you’re dead and don’t need a bike.
