    Our shop sells Scott, and I have an eRansom and a Scale myself (love em!), if there is one message I could get to the designers, the one thing that has made selling a Scott harder than say the Transition or the Specialized next to it, is the headset cable routing. This needs to end, now. People hate it, mechs hate it and its hurting your sales.

      Scott Support is no support at all. They never answer, and if they answer it's bullshit. Totally second your experiences. And, well, I ride a Specialized S-Works Enduro now. Specialized supports answers, helps, and the bike kills my Ransom 900 Tuned.

      @@xflow I made a mullet bike and asked for their opinion. They said it has been built for 27,5" and it's not recommended. This was a comprehensive answer. I translated it: you have bought the frame, you can do everything you want with it. Mullet was not trendy in 2019. However I have got a lot of pedal strikes, even with the bigger front wheel.

    I like how they made a regular bike now look like an ebike by "hiding" the shock! 😁

      @YFZriderdude15 2 года назад +1

      that's all I thought too.. LOL
      and the price is on par with an e-bike... hmm... "do I want a bike with a hidden shock or a bike with a motor that lets me ride farther?"
      same price... big difference...

    What exactly is patented, the integration of the shock entirely or their linkage design that makes that integration possible.

    Amazing looking machines but not a fan of the headset cable routing. I'm sure it's a great bike but working on it would not be fun.

    Bike looks amazing and it is a technological wonder (someday maybe i will able to have it) but price is not so much. Around 3900€ for lowest spec ( alu frame 940 Genius) all i can say good luck in this economy.

    Internal everything = pain in the arse maintenance, no matter how good the bike is or what brand it's from, it would put me off. Great looking bike though and I've got no doubt it will perform well.

    My friend put this bike together for his son and before I knew it he was done ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L When the son came to put it together he was surprised to see it was already done. All he had to do was take the bike to get air and be on his way. My friend did not have any major problems putting this bike together; small issue was putting one of the brakes on straight; however when the son got home he was able to fix it. The bike rides well gears move correctly; good bike for the price. Wrote review after the son took the bike. Sorry.

    compared to my scott spark 2017, the new design looks like it was not designed by human.
    sorry, but in my eyes it's as ugly as f̶u̶.. possible.
    If i ever buy a scott genius, and i might be, it will be an older model with the former look

    I have the Scott Spark and the integrated shock is a nightmare. Yes it looks cool. Yes it doesn’t get dirty. But taking it out and setting sag is a pain in the ass. And the headset cable thing is total rubbish.

      @@ghostdog6471 no it sounds exactly the same… that’s exactly what I said the first time around. What’s your problem? My statement was factual, an integrated shock especially without a proper sag dial is much more time consuming and fidgety to deal with than a normal bike and has only one advantage, that it doesn’t get dirty.
