For this comparison, I’ll be sizing up two of the most popular mattresses in the game: Casper and Endy. Though these all-foam beds have a lot in common, they’re certainly not created equal, which means landing on the right one for you is going to be a little trickier than you might think.

The Endy and Casper are both built entirely of foam, though that doesn’t mean they’re going to feel the same! Endy relies mostly on its proprietary Endy foam whereas Casper employs a more balanced approach of memory foam, latex, and high-density poly foam.
For all-foam mattresses, these bad boys are actually quite supportive. Their firmnesses may be different (we’ll get into that later), but they’re both designed to support the sleeper in many different positions.
And finally, both of these beds feature some interesting cooling properties, which help set them apart from other foam models on the market.

The Casper Essential mattress is 11 inches thick now. The slimmer one is the older model. The 11 inch model is amazingly comfortable for a side sleeper.
I’m 22 and I’m suffering from back pain. I wake up with a lot of back pain in my partners bed and my own. I just made the jump and purchased the Casper essential. I didn’t want to spend the money but I really hope it helps! Thank you for the sleep science. These videos really helped me make a decision.

Nice review...Casper is ok. The Endy seems a bit better for me. Essential is way too firm.

Just wondering which would be better for a couple sleeping in the same bed. In a different review of just Endy mattresses, you mentioned that for sleeping two, the Endy doesn’t provide a whole lot of edge support. How does the Casper stack up in comparison?
I have the same question. How do these mattresses line up for edge support? Are they really built for two people sleeping side by side and out to the edges?
