    If you don't own three Bobas (zero). Would swapping Toro in be viable in your opinion and would you make additional changes for Toro?
    (I have all the cards, except three Bobas and only have one DJ. Wondering if it is worth breaking up better decks to try and build this or if Toro can be good enough to keep it pretty competitive).

      Toro's a good card for sure, but it seems hard to include in this list. Boba and DJ take up the 3-cost curve that Toro would slot into so we'd have to make a cut. If you don't own Boba then it's easy, but if you DO have Boba then you'd end up cutting DJ which is a massive lifesaver against hard control.
      Plus, the deck isn't really built for Toro. There are some BH units in the list, but over half of the units in our deck get nothing from Toro. In a situation where you don't have another bounty hunter in hand, Toro is no different than something like DJ since they're both a 3-cost 3/5. Toro just doesn't feel consistent enough for me in this list, but he is usable. If you don't have a playset of DJ then sure, why not haha

    hosnetly i don;t think dj is worth playing. I don;t think that 3/5 unit on 7th resource is good play, because last sentance in his ability in smugle is that if he dies enemy gets resource back. So basicly that means that he could die from takedown vanquish rivals fall. or they will go with I m your father and get 3 free cards, and then iden could be deployed and then make an opening so that mean that there are 12 counters for him which is a lot. So instead of playing DJ i would go with bazine, she also is smugled. She is cheaper and only replay against her is luck from draw or hiding 2 SLB on your hand. Also in your deck you have ,, a new adventure" which can be used also on bazine or body rukh so that's a second argument why you don;t have to play DJ.

    • @Thorrk_THT
      @Thorrk_THT  3 месяца назад +3

      I mean nobody dispute the fact that Bazine and rook are better against hard control but DJ is better against everything else and by a lot. So the ideal in my mind is to play Dj main and add bazine and rook for control MU.
      The fact that DJ dies to any removals is not a issue, the idea is to play DJ to prevent a snoke and SLB and force the opponent to use a removal instead in those key cards can be crucial.

    • @matthewcolter
      @matthewcolter 3 месяца назад +1

      It's probably worth noting that there's 3x Bazine in the sideboard for this exact reason. She may be the single best card we can run against big control decks. I think DJ is in the mainboard while bazine is not because he still has value in other matchups while Bazine does not.
      Bazine is definitely the scariest threat for hard control but I do feel like DJ is a must as well. The main draw for DJ is that it doesn't matter if the opponent can toss removal at him - it kinda feels like the whole point. They have to spend resources killing DJ (either by playing removal like takedown or by attacking him) which hits extra hard if you have the initiative going into what would normally be a superlaser blast or krayt dragon turn. Essentially, you're drawing removal away from the rest of your board while also buying yourself an extra turn of combat before the control deck can play out the top of their curve.

    • @HeroFrank1
      @HeroFrank1 3 месяца назад +3

      @@matthewcolter that doesn't work like that, after blast yellow boba is dead, Avenger snoke etc. And maybe it woudl be winable if you didn't waste whole 7th resource turn for unit that doesn't impact board especialy that yellow boba doesn't have sentinels. So the point is that i would rather play bazine and body rukh then dj. Because that way you just got ridd of 2 potential threats, But dj doesn't eliminate any od them. Like the odds of killing oponent by smugling dj for 7 are very very low. Especialy against good hard Control players. Also back to bazine she is more versitile then dj. She could take away your ramp which is crucial for some decks, also she could take Poe dameron from Sabine which also realy hurts. Like bazine is very similar to Spark of rebelion which was considered one of the best cards in the first set

      @@matthewcolter in which matchup bazine is bad, even against agro she is very good

    • @matthewcolter
      @matthewcolter 3 месяца назад

      @@HeroFrank1 The biggest issue is that Bazine lets the opponent draw a card. There's no real benefit to the forced discard unless their replacement draw is considerably worse than what you made them throw away, so against something like a tuned low-to-the-ground aggro list the opponent will almost certainly end up drawing another threat. It might save you a bit of damage, i.e. by making sabine replace a fleet lieutenant with a worse unit, but probably not as helpful as something like DJ being a 3-cost 3/5 that can trade with multiple units.
