@Sunoo_HEHE it depends on your face shape. i recommend getting longer curtain bangs (ones that go to your lips/chin) and use a big roller/barrel to curl them. if you like them, wear ‘em! maybe even cut them shorter (NOT PAST EYES.) if you don’t like them, don’t curl them and let them grow out.
for everyone in the comments, i have a larger forehead, and i also had both types of hairstyles... in my opinion, when i had bangs, i looked the best with short bangs _(either bangs that reached just below my brow, or betty bangs that cover 3/4's of my forehead)._ curtain bangs, however, just seemed to be very awkward on me unless i actually took the time to style them (which i'm too lazy to do most of the time lol). honestly, *just do whatever makes you feel like you look the best!* ♡☆

A forehead that fits 4 fingers is a normal sized, proportional forehead :) You probably have a face similar to mine! I have bangs! They look very nice :) though be careful not to make them too thin. Thin bangs take a lot of work to maintain while slightly thicker ones are WAYYYYY easier.

For me, I got the bangs but it is on the lighter side and not heavily covering my forehead. I usually place my bangs to the side a bit with a bit more on one side and later I realize that I look better with long bangs to the side since it covering cheekbones, making face slimmer. If u really want them, you should get it as hair does grow out and u can tell which style suit u best.
if you're on the fence about getting bangs, they sell clip on bangs for less than $5 on shein. just so you can get a feel for how'd they look before committing!!
i recently got wispy bangs and it was the best decision ever ! I love how it looks but my bangs still naturally go to the sides. Hopefully I can grow out the edges a bit so it’s easier to manage 😅

IU doesn't have a big forehead though. That's why I believe the length and where you start/ section your bangs from the top of your head also makes a difference on how your forehead looks. You can have a smaller forehead and still have bangs to suit you. It makes more sense to analyze the rest of your facial features, the part that will actually be seen. Because not everyone with a smaller forehead will also have shorter features like you. They could have a longer nose, cheeks and or chin.

Actually, if you have a square face or round face, I would advise against front curtain bangs. It makes your lower face appear wider.
