    • @itsericzhou
      @itsericzhou 5 дней назад

      That’s largely in part due to the fact that the chassis it’s built on is an ifv capable chassis. The ZBL08 uses a 30mm auto cannon and so the chassis is decently strong. This is unlike the Stryker where the ability to equip a large turret was strapped on much later in development.

      i mean stabilization is a consumable feature, you can see videos about Russian t62 and t72 do not turn their stab on, according to guides of warsaw treathy army, stab should be turned on only 10 seconds before shoot, to expand lifespan of stab
      i would like to show you many videos on Chinese websites, showing from which batch of ztl11 was equipped with stab, yes, the earliest batch has no stab, the first stab batch enter service since 2013, not 2011, there the exactly 11 actually from, but until 2017, all existing ztl 11 was equipped or modified to equipped with stab, and the number of ztl11 at that time reaches more than 400, guess how many till now
      the number is still a quality, and for the most time, it actually is the most important quality, the biggest feature of ztl11 not mentioned in this video is the number, ztl11 wheeled tank as well as 08 series wheeled armored vehicle family, now reaches the number of more than 3000, how much more than 3000 is hard to say, but at least 3000, that is exactly the biggest advantage of 08 series and ztl11, ok quality, ok weapon, ok ability, and massive production

    the ZTL-11 play the role of tank in Chinese SBCT
    greatly different from American style SBCT, Chinese SBCT is simply replace tank and IFV in ABCT with ZTL11 "wheeled tank", and ZBL08 "wheeled IFV", while the American SBCT are equiped with "wheeled APC" and M1128 GMC
    that is to say, Chinese SBCT is still a vehicle based unit, while American SBCT is a infantry based unit
    the concept behind different SBCT is more different, Chinese army tend to use Chinese SBCT more in attack mission, China now do not have any infantry based unit, Chinese even try to equip para troops with atv mounted anti tank cannon
    but american main task is different, American SBCT try to get to the place via air transportation, sequre the land as long as possible until ABCT come over sea

    Who knows, maybe it'll be better than the Eastern Block BTR's, then again I'm thinking China should already know that exiting from a tiny door in the center of a stationary armoured vehicle is difficult without a full combat load. Not to mention that the US Army is divesting from the Stryker mobile gun systems in 2022 for many reasons, but most of all because they truly suck.

    • @The_ZeroLine
      @The_ZeroLine 11 месяцев назад +3

      Yup. Soldiers hated the Stryker. The CCP/PLA does not have a meritocratic system in any area and their procurement system is equally or even more corrupt than Russia’s. I doubt many of the PLA’s platforms have even a third of the capabilities they claim.
      I’m surprised they’d use the success of a wheeled vehicle in the desert against a disorganized and non-peer enemy as the impetus to develop this thing. That shows a poor analysis to begin with.

    • @APDM_OSINT
      @APDM_OSINT 11 месяцев назад +1

      You guys are blind or what? The side door is mainly used to load and unload wheels into the turret; nobody said you HAVE to use them. The vehicle has a driver's hatch on the front and three hatchs for the commander, gunner, and loader on the turret top. You basically criticized a design that you invented, and somehow called yourself smart. In the end, it shows your lack of knowledge of military hardware.
      Also, Stryker MGS sucks because it is a terrible vehicle, not because an assault gun is obsolete; otherwise, why even make M10 Booker, which is also an assault gun.

    Is this a copy of Tata WhAP?
    Bcoz it looks like one.. China Copied Indian NAMICA anyways😮‍💨

      Do you think it looks copied? Then India copied because the ZTL-11 is older (~1200 produced, part of the Type 08 family (~6000 produced)), while the Kestrel is newer (2014-) with just a dozen or so produced.

      @@volrathsstronghold copy cheats always support copiers.. just look at all the Chinese machinery, doesn't it Show American or Russian weapons being reverse-engineered..
      It won't be a surprise if China Copied India.. because China cannot afford to do shit on its own.. it's whole existence is itself a byproduct of reverse-engineering..

      Im pretty sure the ZTL-08 'inspired' by the Terrex ICV of Singapore. if memory serves a batch of Terrex IFVs were impounded in hongkong by the Chinese government for serval months after a Singoporian/Taiwanese exercise. the PLA had 4 months to pore over the vehicles before they returned them.

      It is a copy. China managed to develop a Time Machine and stole the blueprints for the Tata WhAP and created the ZTL in 2008.

    9:49 - what do you mean - US *this century* i.e. since 2000 has had almost no victories - there is only a lone victory over Iraq. US has failed time and time again, constantly loosing wars.
