I just bought this device and I’m new to this. I have a couple of questions. 1 . How and where do you upload pictures and videos? 2. Can you LIVE stream more than 2 media channels? 3. Can you watch a video on your laptop and watch it at the same time on the switcher?

for your problems:
1. you can only upload backgroud pictures to the video switcher, can't upload backgroud video.
2. You use USB 3.0 and RTSP IP streaming at the same time. And you can also record 1080P 60fps high quality videos at the same time.
3. Can't preview video on computer, becuase most computers only have video out function , doesn't have video in function.
You can use "PGM" or "MVR" HDMI video out to TV or HDMI monitor to preview the video.

I wish you made this in a version with SDI.
You can use SDI to HDMI video converter to convert SDI signal to HDMI signal.
because SDI video swither is much more expensive than HDMI video switcher

How do you connect the joystick to the video switcher via Ethernet? I am trying to get the picture out of the joystick to the video switcher
Dear friend, the joystick uses IP addresses to control cameras, so, controller joystick and cameras should connect to the same router.
for video, you need use HDMI cable connect camera to the video swither.
@@fomako9778 thank you for getting back to me! Can I take the signal from the joystick to the video switcher? If so, How? The joystick only has Ethernet and USB, and VGA.
@@kerolosakraz Controller joystick doesn't have video out function. the "VGA" port is RS232 control port, USB port is reserved and doesn't have function currently.

@@fomako9778 I have PTZ cameras that are connected to a POE switch. They don’t have HDMI or SDI outputs How can I input the video feed into your FOMAKO video switcher? The diagram for the Fomako video switch shows I can input my IP cameras via LAN, can you explain?
@@kerolosakraz almost all video switcher can onnly support HDMI or SDI video in, doesn't support IP Streaming video in.
FoMaKo KC601 Pro is HDMI video swither, can only switch HDMI signals.
For the network port on FoMaKo video switcher, it is for IP control cameras and IP stream to streaming platform by RTSP.

I’m interested in buying this mixer. Can this work with any camera with an hdmi? I have a canon 750d as well as a couple of webcams, will this work?
yes, it can work with any HDMI cameras, but can't support 4K input, support 1080P 60fps max.

One other question, there have been some negative comments made about how the KC601 is used, for example, uploading images in specific formats and the general use of the device. Will you be releasing an upgrade to the firmware anytime soon to address these worries?

So, the background and logo images need to be converted into baseline standard images using our tools first.
