As a West Coast Saltwater angler I would LOVE to see a kayak similar to the Pursuit but in the 36-38” width range.

I would love to see them simplify the pedal drive. get rid of the swiveling head and get the costs cut in half. The cost of that unit is more than some kayaks, that cost excludes almost all the pedal drive buyers. I would also like to see them widen the gunnel a little and adding front to back gear track. Gear track is imperative for the DIY'er to leverage their creativity. Lets face it adding gizmos and gadgets to fit your own preferences is a large portion of the boating fun. The little 12" pieces of track that are stuck on the gunnels just seems a bit half hearted. I just can't give up my Native because they are the only manufacturer who has committed to the full gear track installation.

I would like to see it more low profile for sure. Not sure thats going to cut the price in half though. There are advantages and disadvantages to the Pivot drive setup.

@@thebeardedpaddler Ya biggest disadvantage that I see, (outside of price) is the challenge one would face to clear the drive of weeds or fishing line. The advantages That I see is the significant improvement in maneuverability and the quiet operation. But those benefits certainly don't off set the noncompetitive price and the challenge of clearing a fouled drive. It's seems like a real hard sell. I do see merits in the technology but the execution in this case falls short.
