Linklight returns to the workshop for Rivals of Aether which gives you access to custom new characters or mods! In this video I check out Maroon Impostor which is now the third Impostor from the FNF mod to be featured in this game. Maroon Impostor has quite a few cool moves.

So in 2011, scientists have discovered a dinosaur fossil
But what's so special about it is that it has been preserved in ice for over 110 million years
It has been preserved so well, the skin, bone, claws and cells are still intact
This gives a few scientists an idea to bring back the dinosaurs to life
And they do a process called selective breeding, or artificial selection
This is a biological process where scientist will inject a DNA of an animal, and put it into a sperm cell or an egg cell of another animal during fertilisation, resulting in a new species being made
They did it to the dino fossil, and they injected it into a pigeon
And this is what happen:
i wouldnt be surprised if they make the entire Impostor v4 cast at this point
I don't even think linklight even knows what vs impastoV4 is

the tentacles from 7:45 are from maroon's final phase in the last song in his week. They appear on his back.
EXTRA: They also spike out dramatically like that in his down animation in the song.

Don't think they are tentacles. In Maroon's parasite form the so-called "tentacles" are way too sharp-looking and thin.
They are most likely to be spider legs like Loggo's.

I wonder how they'll make Pink. My guess is that she's doing regular crewmate things and accidentally hurts people.
I think they will make her a zoner to both make her a "passive" character and to make her playstyle the opposite of grey's (because grey will obviously be a rushdown, it makes sense)

Maroon's taunt is based off his animation at the end of Magmatic, along with his winning screen

7:25 Its an imposter tentacle/tendril. Maroon usually only has those in his parasite form tho.
I'm 99% sure the smash attacks are based on Maroon's parasite form details
Forward smash brings out his horns
Up smash not entirely sure, but still has the charcoal detail
Down smash uses his spider like appendages

Yes, Maroon can become a large biothermal creature with igneous rock like tendrils protruding from his spine. That's what the black tendrils are.

The Up & Down Smash are based on the spider-like legs Maroon has in his parasite form
The weird branches thing you said is the spider legs from maroon's parasite form
In the VS Imposter v4 mod the things coming out of maroon is his tentacles and in the rivals of aether mod it is a reference to Maroon's parasite form.
Maroon's true form/impostor form has black spikes, that heavily resemble insect legs.
This is cool. I like how people are making Vs imposter v4 characters. It’s that interesting!
not gonna lie it would be pretty neat if someone made grey impostor; and since the shapeshifter bubble is grey when shapeshifting if they made the grey impostor shapeshift

FINALLY, you made a video on maroon I beat you too maroon by a margin and when your bar is full and do your up-special its actually not just height that changes maybe hit the target.

the black spikes/horns are a reference to his parasite form, which is shown in the FNF song Boiling Point, but only in his parasite form

If u watched fnf vs imposter v4 from community games that object in up smash is one of maroon's smaller horns from his parasite form and for his side smash he brings out his 2 bigger horns when doing the side smash and for the down smash thos black things that appear in the down smash are his tentacles also from his parasite form.
I like how some of maroons styles are based off the other vs imposter characters.

That’s a knife, not a sword, and also Maroon is the boyfriend of White though he is not in Black’s gang, also though he does not have the horns in his normal form, he has them in his Parasite form and he is a bit smarter if not as smart as Red who is just extremely dumb, the first word you’d usually think of when you think of the two is stupidity
The Fstrong and Ustrong are just horns and for the Dstrong, play fnf vs impostor V4 and you’ll get it.
i do like maroon hes my fav character
his smash attacks are basically with parts of his parasite form
aka his true form
he does have fire related since they did scrappe fire mechanic in the mod(if i remember correctly)
hes also canonically is in a relationship with white impostor but i think they removed that i could be wrong so(it was funny seen him fightting white in this vid)
people did say maroon is mostly rude wich makes it funny
