    I just installed the V3 kit myself on my '22 Ghost. It seems complicated at first but YOU NEED TO TAKE YOUR TIME. Patience goes a long way. If you're technically inclined, you'll actually enjoy the process. I installed everything correctly but still ended up getting an error; "F1" on my screen. After multiple attempts to troubleshoot I realized the Regen module they sent me in the kit was faulty. I emailed support and within a few hours they got back to me and shipped me a new Regen module.
    Apollo Support is excellent! When you purchase this scooter, just know that the Canadian company really cares for their customers.
    I'll update here once I install the new Regen module and everything works fine.

    I was able to get her done with by 2021 Ghost... Very satisfied. My advice to the serious amateurs (like me) is just take it slow, don't force anything, and watch/pause the video over a few times while you are doing it. A few things that tripped me up:
    1) The wires that are doubled with two connectors for the LEDs are two for the left front and back and two for the right front and back. Makes sense once you know... He doesn't do a great job of explaining that and the wire colors don't match the video. As @Josh M7 points out "I've learned the Green Black double connector is the Right Front/Rear Leds." The other pair is for the left.
    2) There are other relevant comments here - like don't forget to add the foam protecting the wire on reassemble.
    3) I set the scooter on top of a small box for bench testing. It took a while to get the calibration step figured out. You can turn it on just to see that it is working and play around with the controls. Once you do that, turn it off. Now press the power button quickly - then immediately 10 times quickly to get the calibration mode going. If you wait too long after that first press it won't trigger. I was in kickstart mode - so I had to rotate the wheels to get the motors started when I throttled...
    4) Reassembly is more of an art than a science, take your time: one step at a time. Good example left up to you is the bell doesn't get discussed... I left it off, but there is probably a position that could work... I did zip tie each connector as was done on the original install from factory. Also that little step on sealing the wiring harness into the deck is important if you want to keep her fairly water tight - i used some black silicone.
    Hope that helps!

      This definitely helps in regards to the wiring, it is what I was beginning to suspect looking at this, but wasn't sure. I haven't completed installation yet, but I am curious, does this eliminate the brake light activation then since the front and rear lights are now tied together?

    • @JoshM7
      @JoshM7 Год назад

      @@DrewFromSoDak you mean when you brake the rear lights blink? That still works. Though the front and rear lights are always on now and since the front are on the same wire as the rear, they also blink when breaking.
      TL;DR Front and Rear lights blink when breaking now.

      Just to add to #2
      If you get everything plugged in and the turn signals are not working but rather just flashing either the headlights or brake lights, you can trial and error by turning the scooter off and switching the green/black, with the blue black leads. You will get it eventually

    Hey Apollo Team,
    Got a question on the current Ghost 22 Mach 1 upgrade kit.
    I was fortunate enough to have an Apollo service center near me. $100 USD for upgrade installation for those interested.
    Will the lights be able to be turned off fully with an update? If not how will this effect the battery life of said scooter?
    If battery drains and dies out fully will the warranty cover this issue because of the upgrade?
    Can an extended warranty be purchased after purchasing the upgrade kit?
    Will a added piece or solution be available for the deck hook once the lcd monitor is installed?
    Unfortunately this can be an issue since it’s not lockable and if you want to transport the scooter manually by hand or car you risk a chance of the lcd monitor to crack or break since it’s not secured.
    Thanks in advance

    I recommend re-shooting this video with the production version of this kit. The wiring harness shown and described in this video does not match the production version. I would also recommend a "demo" video of the production version of this kit to show what it is ACTUALLY capable of to perspective buyers.

    the controller is not even bolted/held down properly for best heat transfer?
    And the battery isn´t secured from sliding, unless the front is fully stuffed?

    • @rasmuspersson1000
      @rasmuspersson1000 8 дней назад

      They also put the thermalpad on the side that have the heatspreaders. Then we add that the controller isnt even attached. Not even pressed down with at plastic clip or what ever again the bottom so that the thermalpad can transfer the heat. This makes absolutley no sense. Not even the argument that the side with the heatpreaders are touching components internally, and thats why that side is the warmest and needs more cooling. To transfer heat you need contact.

Went ahead and pressed the power button 10 times and the calibration started and finished while the screen was black and blank. Off and on again, the lights work, breaklight work but still no screen, the throttle doesn't work, and no turn signals. Hmmm...guess i need to call support.

      I've learned the Green Black double connector is the Right Front/Rear Leds.
      Blue Black double connector is the Left.
      Yellow Black seems to be for the Blue Deck Leds.
