- This is the backcountry adventure I’ve been dreaming about since the last time I rode out here. The full pull is 27 miles, but luckily one part of the trail is closed and I’ll only have to do 20 miles. It’s a survival ride!
Thanks so much to Quebec City Mountain Biking for sponsoring this trip and making these videos possible. One region, five fantastic trail centers! Check out their website to plan your trip: bit.ly/quebec23

Dude that scream cut in the intro has me laughing my ass off 🤣
Hahaha!
I love this Quebec takeover, so cool to see all the RUclipsrs put their own take on the region. I'm surprised you didn't have a big meetup of all of you guys ! This would have been the biggest collab
Yeah!! Everything was staggered out, though, none of us were there at the same time!!
Vallée bras du Nord is the master of trail adventure! Absolutely love it .
Quebec is going all out with the influencers
These are my favorite kind of trails. A complete simbiosis with nature. It almost made me cry 😍
that's exactly why i ride too
The usual stuff is fun , but I definitely enjoy it more when you're just out exploring a trail/system. Adventure rides for the win! 😁
Yeah, I love this type of stuff!
Those view point near the Neilson Sud are amazing
What a ride you had, two things I really enjoy running into on my forest rides are rushing rapids and beautiful wildlife.
I’ve always wanted to hit a trail along side of a waterfall. I’ve done so many waterfall hikes that don’t allow mtb riding. This would be on my bucket list
It is pretty amazing!
That was such an amazing ride! I have to get there one day. Adventures in nature are the best.
I hope you do!
Very cool to see you show-off the Québec City area trails!
They're the best!
Did the big 40 km loop 3 days ago... Such an epic ride, well done!
Whew, I would need a water filter for that one!
I am glad I am a small 9 hour drive away from here. It's an amazing trail system. Quebec is definitely battling for Canada's mtb mecca with BC and the North Shore. If only Quebec had the elavation.
Mont St Anne and Le Massif have decent elevation. Not comparable to Whistler but in the same league as North Vancouver.
Well worth the drive!!
Beautiful trail!
I'm glad you had to see the Neilson's! Such an epic trip to go ride this area! And what the heck, I didn't knew we had litteral snakes in Quebec! :O
Good job Brian. Glad you wore your big boy shorts.
Wow, amazing video, thanks ! 🚴♀️
Great video dude!! I did the exact same run earlier this summer! So challenging and awesome adventure!! 🤙🤘
beautiful. loved it. great video.
Thanks so much!
Awesome epik trail and video lovet
Living the dream my man!
Je me souviens... To cross this off my bucket list!
Love the chicken on the bike signs. Too funny.
You got pretty lucky, it looks very dry compared to mud fest couple of times we did full Nelson before climbing trail has been built.
Grand legend is cool, but for some reason I always had more fun bombing down Borealis.
Just an FYI, that fall you ride at the bottom and across of in "Chute à Gilles" is the same you ride along in "The Legend", and that fall you refer to in the winter was the Delaney fall, which is on another trail. Hope you get to enjoy the Neilson North again at some point, a few changes were made since you last rode it I believe, getting you even closer to the river than before!
VBN was stage 5 of the QSE race in 2022…in the pouring rain. Best day on the trails I ever had! (Can’t get wetter than wet 😁) Going back for 2024
Cool video, flat Oklahoma doesn't have anything that neat. Being by your self don't know what you would do to get help way out there. Nice videos. Keep up the good work.
Hey friend, I saw that cool trail. By the way, Alex from Single Track Sampler was here last week. I enjoyed watching the video. Thanks!
Nice! To me, a big 43km loop at Shanahan (Total Neilson + Grande-Ourse in and out + Légende) is the best backcountry XC route you can get… Godzila looks amazing but I think it’s strange to have this jump line in the middle of the forest. It would be perfect at Le Massif or MSA with chairlift access
That's a big day on the bike. And a ton of climbing, which I don't think many people realize is available out that way. I did that loop (minus going to top of L'Aurore) a few summers ago when it was 40 degrees out........what a bad idea haha but it was great. Swimming in the river after was so awesome. The only thing now with the addition of some of the newer trail going to Neilson, is that you miss out on that water pipe/spring coming out of the hill on the road. Thats some of the freshest and coldest water I've had.
Yeah, I love the big bad adventures!
You need to spend some time riding on Trail One Vortex Pedals in all that wet tech
muinto top
the forest is similar to ours in Russia, the trees are the same
Hey Brian, what is the story behind you and jumps?
Great video but La Chute à Gilles, you did it in reverse :)
Are your bars on backwards??
Not sure if it’s the camera angle but it looks like the sweep is away from you.
What bike street you on?
I my first watch
Should've met up with @Sampler and rode the waterfall. His last vid was on the same trail I believe, unless Q City is the land of waterfalls???
He was there a week before me!
@@bkxc Remy just put up a vid riding down the waterfall. He is absolutely flying down it. Great vids of late.
So have you heard anything about the huge mtn bike resort they are putting in at Hartfotd, Tn?
I have not! Just did some googling and found little bits of info
@@bkxc I live in hartford, the resort who is buying up hartford said they wanted to build the biggest whitewater, mtn biking resort in the world. That's almost a direct quote
Brian's camera settings seems a bit off these past few videos
wheres Alex>?
Hi Brian! 11:42 My girlfriend and I took a similar gravel tour up a road under construction! What can I say, it wasn't easy?!
Haha yep, it's tough stuff!
What kind of Bike are you riding nowadays?
Same Ripmo that I got in January!
Amico mio io Italia 🇮🇹 o la bici montebaick piace fare che fate voi ma non sono. Pratico 🍉🍉🍉 un saluto 🙋♂️
Why no bike gloves?
Good grips. I ride no grips on short rides, but they definitely blunt knuckle strikes and provide a sweat wiper on big rides.
What amazes me the most is that tech is getting so good that audio that is recorded while riding, sounds like it was recorded on a studio
Most definitely!
You don't cross paths with Alex @singletracksampler 😄
Quebec week is the new shark week and I'm so OK with that.
Hahaha, that's a great comparison
