I bet the difficulty could be made a bit more direct just by giving the imposters a couple different speeds and numbers. Like level one is one slow imposter, then level 2 is one fast imposter. then level 3 is TWO slow imposters, and level 4 being two FAST imposters. or just something like that.
This is what happens after the imposters win. The last crewmember just knows who the imposters are so they don't have to hide their true nature anymore and can run after the crewmate.
god I think if that is what happens it would be very terrifying for the crewmate, and the fact that they would then in their final moments come to terms that they fell to the imposters cunning, even killing their own friends with the airlock system.
Mark makes so many weird vocalizations that I, a non-native speaker, spend the whole video wondering if I didn't catch a word or if it was just another random Mark noise.
I'm surprised Lixian didn't put a countdown to the 2V1 or something akin to a FORESHADOWING subtitle. Granted the imposters weren't all that threatening so there wouldn't be too much comedic payoff lol

I was just watching that yesterday. I think I saw in the comments that it got a lot of backlash because of racism, transphobia and other things. Which it was a little-or a lot-here and there, but it is kinda ironic in a way. It is a NSFW game, so it’s not exactly supposed to be clean. But for RUclips I can understand why you wouldn’t want to continue it. I still loved the videos he did post
I would honestly love to see this game flushed out. I imagine that all the different maps, more tasks to do per round, more dangerous and intelligent impostor AI, more impostors, and more use for hiding spots would make this a delightfully dreadful experience. Perhaps even a multiplayer mode would make this an excellent spinoff of an already amazing game.
This looks easier in terms of staying alive and like he said, they announce when they get closer. Real Among Us gameplay is about being a sneaky imposter and staying safe as a crewmate.
I'll admit, this is a creative take on Among Us. Being a horror game spin-off where you're the only surviving crew member left, it would be very stressful.
Basically, Among Us “lore” in a nutshell. It is the same universe as Henry Stickman. The first map you need to start in is MIRA. When you spawn above you is the lobby, which is still a work in progress, and when you check for the anomaly on the dropship task, its a turtle, SKELD. After MIRA you get onto SKELD. From the SKELD you fly over to POLUS, which is named after a guard in Henry Stickman, the one where you the prison, who won a sweepstake and hit to name a planet after him. And you character is an astronaut who works for MIRA and somehow an alien thing is among the crew. Yes, I need a life. Yes, I know the Among Us lore which inly furthers my need of a life.
Translation for those having a stroke: " 'I hear something gurgling.' Anyone playing horror games would say that. The question is, would they go to the gurgling?"
This proves the theory that the impostors transform into hideous eldritch horrors and hunt down the crewmate/s after the crewmate count is equal to the imposter count
I'm really loving the podcast! I listen to it while I do boring errands and it makes me feel like I'm goofing off with friends instead of buying groceries or whatever.
If it was anyone else, I couldn't handle watching them walk past obvious things in horror games. But Mark fumbling around is just endearing. I love screaming at the screen in frustration. It gives an added level of fun. "NO! ARE YOU FLIPPING BLIND!? STOP! NO, BACK!".
Honestly, watching this game its kinda a bit sad to me. A seemingly decently high quality and engaging "do stuff while things chase you" horror game that falls flat due to a lack of progression in gameplay elements and difficulty with a strange emphasis on mobile-like points and microtransactions. The game actually seems good for what it is, its honestly too bad to me they missed the mark overall. Could've really been something, the potential is there. Just make the "imposters" progressively faster each level to encourage hiding and discourage just running in front of them and then running away like Mark did the whole video lol

What a fantastic little game! The tasks are accurate (mostly), the impostor chase music was thumpin', the animations, the way blood splatters out the impostors' mouths while they walk, and they just went all out on everything. Even faithful cosmetics! Squeezed a lot of life out of a simple horror game. Makes me see how fitting this kind of horror game is with the Among Us premise. Like a Slender & the 8 Tasks. xD

Basically, Among Us “lore” in a nutshell.
It is the same universe as Henry Stickman.
The first map you need to start in is MIRA. When you spawn above you is the lobby, which is still a work in progress, and when you check for the anomaly on the dropship task, its a turtle, SKELD. After MIRA you get onto SKELD. From the SKELD you fly over to POLUS, which is named after a guard in Henry Stickman, the one where you the prison, who won a sweepstake and hit to name a planet after him. And you character is an astronaut who works for MIRA and somehow an alien thing is among the crew.
Yes, I need a life. Yes, I know the Among Us lore which inly furthers my need of a life.

This proves the theory that the impostors transform into hideous eldritch horrors and hunt down the crewmate/s after the crewmate count is equal to the imposter count

If it was anyone else, I couldn't handle watching them walk past obvious things in horror games.
But Mark fumbling around is just endearing. I love screaming at the screen in frustration. It gives an added level of fun.

Considering Mark only liked the tasks part and not the imposter/meeting part, I'd say this game is the perfect version of Among Us for Mark.
Honestly, watching this game its kinda a bit sad to me. A seemingly decently high quality and engaging "do stuff while things chase you" horror game that falls flat due to a lack of progression in gameplay elements and difficulty with a strange emphasis on mobile-like points and microtransactions.
The game actually seems good for what it is, its honestly too bad to me they missed the mark overall. Could've really been something, the potential is there. Just make the "imposters" progressively faster each level to encourage hiding and discourage just running in front of them and then running away like Mark did the whole video lol
Yess this is so true I was thinking they should’ve definitely made it harder and to where they chase you down and you have to find a hiding spot but yea it should’ve increased exponentially every time

@Andrew Adent, Actually I saw Dawko play this game and on one level, if you hide in a vent infront of them, they will pull you out and kill you but I do agree with what you said.

What a fantastic little game! The tasks are accurate (mostly), the impostor chase music was thumpin', the animations, the way blood splatters out the impostors' mouths while they walk, and they just went all out on everything. Even faithful cosmetics! Squeezed a lot of life out of a simple horror game. Makes me see how fitting this kind of horror game is with the Among Us premise. Like a Slender & the 8 Tasks. xD
