Using creak to find the hold on an open vowel honestly helps me describe what mix feels like to me lol im not sure if that indicates i use flag-tension mix or if i use a "normal" reduced density mix but thank you for showing that it can help find the hold!
That said, reducing density (more) in curbing feels sooo different from reducing density in edge for me I think thats why i kept struggling to mix because i had waaayy too much of a closed vowel xD i was going "ooo" instead of maybe "OA" or somethung
I believe Greg has deprecated the term "flag tension" in favour of "tight mode". It's hard to say without hearing it whether you're in tight mode or not. You can certainly use some creak tension without going all the way to tight mode.
@@VoiceStudioEast HAHA, ik he depreciated the term but its so addicting to me, he went from flagolet tension -> Creaky tension -> tight mode (recently) I think i have an emotional connection to flagolet because its a habit that i gained while humming and prior to watching Greg's video to it i thought: Wow this makes my voice sound higher :D Ill trrry to use tight mode but i think ill have a tendancy to say flag tension lol. That said! Sound wise i dont think it has the stretchy sound of flagolet tension nor does it create the tight sensation in my uvula flag tension does. I wonder if i can look in a mirror to see if my uvula goes: (Byebyeeee!) when i do it. (Btw do u know why the uvula just peaces out when you do flag tension? its very funny to me
dude HOW MANY VOICE QUALITIES DO YOU HAVE LOL each time you sing i do not expect the demo to sound so different from the previous demos. Such a dynamic singer!! 🙌🙌
@@VoiceStudioEast you should totally make a video on it someday! I wanna suggest people to take ur lessons so i gotta show just how cool you are! (I think you've already proven that in prior videos edit: a showcasing video lol)
Can you please make a video hpw to leadn twang and show right -wrong ,show excertice to do to get it and understans it !! Also for singing in front in mask what is the difference !! Phyrangial voice
One more thing ! As much as every modal or technique is good for particulare wovels, when you sing a song you use all the wovels ,all the time !So you should be able to just sing with proper technique not thinking what wovels where..no time for that
But there absolutely is time for it, just like there's time to decide on volume, note duration, ornamentations etc, which constrain the choice of mode anyway, thus simplifying the decision.
This guy is powerhouse of information. Incredible really.
This guy looks like a good teacher, I'll suscribe him
A great way to cover the gist of all the CVT modes. Good stuff!
Also, _metal go brrr..._
THANK YOU!!!!!
Could you tell me what metal in curbing and overdrive should feel like?

I will, but I'm still working on my audio mixing skills and want them to be a bit better first :)
@@VoiceStudioEast okay! lol i think i have to learn that too eventually for beatboxing (Loop station)
Very nice video ! 😊
Thanks :D

Klasse 👍
can you please talk about flageolet?!
The term "flageolet" has been dropped from CVT in favour of "Falsetto", which will be discussed in my video on Neutral.
@@VoiceStudioEast thank you sir
7:08 🤣
8:07 neutral
