*IMPORTANT SPOILER/MODERATION NOTE*
Please remember that pointing out missed items, lore points, etc. are SPOILERS for REPLAY, or for people who are "Playing Along". Comments along these lines will be removed by the moderators - - - General advice about an area ( "There's more lore in the amusement park" ) is acceptable. Pointing out specific items or areas ( "You missed the *BlastoMatic 9000* under the cotton candy machine" or "there's a secret room behind the changing room bookcase" ) is not acceptable.
There are no moderators, I think, who would stop that, especially that a playthrough is usually already a spoiler. As a matter of fact, playthrough make people want to play. I watched 48 hours playthrough of this game three times until I could afford to have the game (a pc that meets the requirements).
Another reason is that there are many videos and wiki zone that help people find some specific items. Most of the time, players also visit playthroughs to help them finish an area. (as I did) And that is true for many games
Ahh, Nil; our friendly neighbourhood psychopath.
With reflector helmet.
Don't apologise for wandering around to experience the world. The devs created the world for you to do that. Much of the fun of playing this game is learning about the world and the various peoples.
Hard to say much more without spoiling, but the world is amazing.
Absolutely. I love seeing Aloy wander around kicking butt and taking names.
dont worry, about 60% of this game is actually just running around and discovering things... its still fun to watch you do it and see your reactions to small conversations, items, and other things that happens while you do it.😁
Nill is my favourite side character😂 they did a great job with him. Just don't miss him when you to bandit camps, he won't be at every single one, but it's easy to miss him when he is there.
"Hammer sharks but with legs"... that's an awesome description!😆
You should see how bright real snow can be sometimes
regarding the items you collected, it is a watch and a wine opener... but to them its unknown as those items... so for some one who never seen it before its a shiny bracelet or an advanced toothpick🤣 its small details like that, that makes this game awesome too.
I think its been mentioned but the little eyeball at the top of your screen (in the middle and below the compass) opens and closes to tell you if you are visible or not. The bandits are in the camp but cant see through walls like you. Also some of them are at a lower level and have the inside and outside wall to block them. And they were only level 3 while you were 10 😉 Another Great video. Keep them coming.
I'm so happy to see you playing & enjoying HZD. I look forward to each new episode.
I played (the non-remastered version) and could offer some simple tips. However, you seem to be happy with the way things are going for you. Plus, you are doing so much better than I did on my first play-thru. So, instead, I have a outside-of-game suggestion. When you are done with the game, make video that's has highlights or your favorite moments. Or just you reacting to yourself. Once you learn the game, your playstyle becomes different. You'll probably have moments of "I made that so much harder than I needed to" when looking at early video. (Alternatively, there is New Game Plus in HZD.) If the general idea appeals to you, remember to note your fav moments in the recordings so you don't have to rewatch a ton of your own videos.
And don't forget to give a few comments of architecture in the game that you find interesting. 😀
25:50 You noticed the body of the sawtooth is weak to fire. Sometimes it's easier to focus on that because it doesn't require accurate firing to get a hit and still does high damage. Picking off parts is good when you have the appropriate arrow type for it's weakness, most commonly tear (and you have time line up a good shot, such as an ambush). This actually uses less resources overall. Check out the weapon tutorial missions for the other bows and weapon types for more info. 1:26:08 The alarm can be disabled. Nice seeing a stealth run of a bandit camp - it's pretty rare.
Happy christmas to you and your family. LG
Merry christmas to you and yours as well!
Thank you very much for sharing your play through!! Enjoying watching you experience the game. This storyline is one of the best in gaming that I’ve played. It’s not as good as say RDR2, but it’s close. 😉🤘🏻I always liked Nil too.
I love this game and I love watching you play it the way you do :)
A note on the "Weapon Tutorial" quests: They're a good way to learn how each new weapon and ammunition type exactly works, while also giving some easy extra XP. The thing is though: They only count if you actually set them to be the active quest before you complete their objetives (like that "kill watchers by shooting a sharpshot arrow in the eye" one). I was confused by that at first myself.
That's what I was going to say.
Great take down of the bandits, this was a fun episode to watch! Hopefully next episode is soon...❤
It may sound strange that being an outkast is worse than death, but it makes sense in this world. Its not only the fact that they are socially isolated, but surviving in the wilds alone is much harder than in a group like a tribe.
I understand Aloy's snarky comment to Jun. She is fed up with the over the top criticism of outcasts. That is definitely her sore spot.
Aloy has lived her entire life suffering unnecessary cruelty from people due to being an outcast. Pretty much a miracle she is as patient as she is.
To be fair, with the information she had at the time (them beating him up (false), robbing him blind (kinda false)), she didn't have a good enough reason to be so snappy. After the fact though? Absolutely. I just thought the comment was deserved later on, not when she said it.
26:12 I recommend you silently kill smaller machines before taking on the largest machine. You need a sharpshot bow for more damage. Activate concentration to slow time down while firing a bow. Also, I recommend getting the high ground while fighting whenever possible. Thank you for sharing your play through. 😉🤘🏻
Very entertaining video. And you don't have to look skeptical when Aloy is so confident about her skills. You're doing very well. 😊
Nice episode,
It’s totally ok to get as sidetracked as you want, imo open world games like this are meant to be explored and HZD has some interesting side quests worth doing, it’s far more interesting than speed running the main story line.
Please consider checking into Settings > General and turning ‘Pickup Animations’ to OFF, this will save you time when harvesting and let you grab stuff like healing plants on the run, it makes the game a lot more fluid.
Once you’re familiar enough with the controls ( and you are), consider also changing the HUD to ‘Dynamic’ for everything, this will give you a much more cinematic experience and is worth experimenting with.
All the HUD elements come back as required very intelligently and you can always open and close map/inventory for it to pop back in full briefly if you want full HUD on demand.
Great LP of a truly wonderful game, looking forward to your reaction to Meridian! 🙏
Oh my god - you´re a killer. I am disturbed and shocked, ha. Holla, die Waldfee. Gut gespielt und was für ein Spass. Danke und bleibe neugierig. LG
1:35:56 Comedic sociopathy at its finest.
enjoy, have fun 👍👍😁😁
Merry Xmas and happy new year lovely Liera! 🫶🥰🍻🎁🎄
It is a gorgeous world, indeed. Its not crazy of your part 😀📸
GG, I like the way you play. Besides, if you didn't noticed, the sharpshot bow allows you to see far than the regular bow. Keep the good job😊
Thank you! I haven't noticed but that would make sense :)
Good luck in getting through this game. I am sure you will be like many players willing to play that game again and again at different difficulties. I wish I was brave enough to do videos with myself commenting my game :)
Adventuring and finding some special places, with or without those maps from vendors, and you can definitely tell which places in the present world the game locates.
29:00 game; weak to fire. Liera, what if I just ignore weakness and stay out of attack range? 😂
Perfect! :D
Rob Scallon fun. Got me. Be in a next trauma and .... holy shit.
Well, since I can’t support you on Patreon anymore I guess I’ll show my appreciation this way from now on. Thanks for the content!
I don't know if anyone told you, but I heard you wonder. Nora territory is supposed to be somewhere in the Colorado Rockies. Meridian is somewhere in Utah.
Fire works better for Sawtooths, it's a good idea to check out machines in your catalogue if you want a better idea of how to defeat them.
Hello
Encore un super épisode😊😊😊
Bravo
Those tokens in your inventory where the ancient vessel is?... You can cash those in at any merchant for gear.
Thanks! I decided not to use them. I'm sure that's going to make my life harder, but I like a challenge :)
@LieraPlays good luck. I'm enjoying the show.
sawtooth is weak to fire so you should have used fire arrows instead of regular.
Honestly I really hated Nil's character, it made me cringe every time I encountered him, which I tried to do as little as possible.
I don't disagree but he was like a car wreck that kept making me look. He ends up having a very interesting story arc throughout the game.
