- Did you know that you can get extra power from your Suzuki Cappuccino engine by swapping to an aftermarket intercooler?
You can! And in this video I show you 2 of the best intercoolers on the market.
The ARC and the Z.S.S. Авто/Мото
If I had access to a Dyno I would test the power difference but real world reports are that there is minimal to no difference between the two in terms of performance. I thought about adding this information to the video but its just hearsay so thought a comment would be better.
Clear and short vid. Nice one!
Brilliant!
An intercooler is basically just a heatsink. The extra 100 grams(5%) will be marginally(unnoticeably) better. I think the deciding factor will be which one you can sell for the most money to recoup your outlay.
Resale value you mean?
I never think about that when buying because I'm a hoarder. 🤣🤣
@@GarageKei Then the ARC cooler is more 90's period correct. Hang it in your garage. Or Bosozoku the Carry.
@@mattjohns3394 I've seen the Cappuccino intercooler mounted upside down above the roof with pipes leading down through the bed of the truck before. 😂🤣
Would you happen to know if the zss requires any cutting of the factory bumper or any of the factory plastic?
Z.s.s, ARC and even Greddy all require cutting to fit.
The only GOOD intercooler that doesn't require cutting, to my knowledge, is the Monster sport. At double the money though... Is it worth it? Only you personally or a trip to the dyno could tell you that..
I've just seen an arc installed without cutting. So now I officially know nothing. lol I'm guessing the Z.S.S will go in without cutting too.
Do you have any recommendations for oil coolers with the ZSS? Im having issues finding an appropriate sized cooler and a spot to put it.
The oil cooler normally goes in front of the passenger side wheel.
If you get a slim Earls it will fit in the stock intercooler location.
Monster makes a bolt in cooler.
@@GarageKei thank you I’ll check out in front of the wheel. I got the ZSS after watching this video. Managed to find a used one for cheap on Mercari. Very happy with the results.
@@itohkenta7727 thanks for watching.
