I just built this plane tonight put an X RP 11 blade in it very impressed with it once I made some adjustments. Question, is this CG in the manual correct? I am using a 4s 1400 60 C pack all the way forward and it seems to be balancing right where the manual says. Thanks

How does she fly without the gyro, it is necessary to use it to make the flying easier?

    Very nice video.
Mine came with nothing but problems... ugh!
Decals were coming off, fan shroud was misformed beyond repair, and 2 servos were shot.
I contacted BH and they assumed I was exaggerating? Their correspondence was minimal. They ended up giving me a $15 refund and I never heard from them again... sadly.
So, I'm left with the foam and the and an esc :( I suppose I'm going to have to find a replacement 50mm fan, I have spare servos, and I stripped the remaining decals that were almost completely coming off the entire build. Not sure if it's really worth all the hassle, as I almost have to put another $50- $100 in parts to put this in the air.
The foam is quality, but that was about it. It really is the most disappointing RC product I've ever purchased. I'm fully competent at building, etc. I have dozens of large scale planes and multirotors, but I could not do anything to make the fan shroud hold a circular shape. It was oblong, and to me it seemed as though this product had been on the shelf for a few years, as it was basically falling apart upon receiving.
So, long story short, I'm disappointed in the product, but even more so with BH and their terrible customer service. I'll never purchase another product from them again.
On a a side note, mine did not come with extras, such as the gyro, or receiver, just the basic build with EDF, ESC, and 3 servos, of which were DOA.
    Definitely not a product I'd recommend :-(

I am a Banana Hobby Supporter, but at $140, she is a bit rich. I have the BH F-22 50mm and its a blast! got her for $75, ARF from BH. this plane and the 50mm Viper should be around the $100 mark, or less in my opinion. at the current asking price, I wont buy it.

Remember, most places, BH, MotionRC and others have FREE shipping over $75... This is no doubt factored into the price of the model.....

Those jets fly better on a 4s and 6 blade fan

they can but not necessarily fly better on 4s and a 6 blade fan.
      - the motor can burn up on 4s on the stock fan (will probably melt in a 6 blade fan)
      - the wemotec 50mm fan which is arguably the best 50mm edf unit out there, only has 4 rotor blades
      - using the wemotec 50mm fan and a don's rc or HET 6000kv motor on 3s is a very good setup

I never burned any motor up and the 6 blade fan fits the stock shroud . Best setup ever .

??????? "best setup ever" using the stock motor and shroud??!?!?!?!?!
i guess a person born blind doesn't really understand what they are missing since they never experienced what is truly out there.
try the setups that i mentioned and you will never go back (if your willing to spend the extra few bucks for "the good stuff")
