That totally works, but in my experience, when i do that, i have to skip the gaunt upgrades from the ritual chamber to get miasma out quicker. However with 2vaults (or now post patch, 1 vault expand) lets you expand quicker because there isnt any need to mine therium early.

Thoughts on building forward shroudstones for vision and white health?
Its expensive, but if you can affort it, i think its not bad.
