I’m super bummed they’re killing a lot of the mobility sylvaneth had (rip overgrown terrain) but I’m hoping things aren’t as bad as they seem once we see the full rules
Whoever thought showing off multiple abilities that synergize with awakened wyldwoods and not show the AWW warscroll needs to rethink what these faction previews are supposed to accomplish. Judging by a lot of responses by the sylvaneth community this did not do a good job generating hype or confidence. But hey, at least it's not Slaneesh.
Great warscrolls, but absolute dogshit faction abilities. Think I'm gonna give Sylvaneth a hard pass this edition. Not getting my hopes up for the actual battletome, either.
Nerfs to it: Depends on having AWW out which requires having wizards/successfully casting a spell/not being unbound/them not being destroyed/needing 2 to be able to teleport 6" range Cannot teleport out of combat with walk the spirit paths Strike and fade now at the end of the turn so you get hit back If you kill your enemy you can't fade away With the new redeploy being always available the aggressive scalpel-teleport is easy to dodge on the important unit Honestly dude, this is catastrophic to the old play style to the point where I wish they had replaced it instead of giving us this mangled corpse that frankly doesn't function
We have a small snapshot of how this will all work, we need to wait and see

Points unknown, but everything I saw here seems pretty solid still. I'm liking how cavalry seem to be getting +1 dmg on the charge across factions.
