Let me know what you think about this new video format. I worked so hard on it.
Also, I just noticed a small mistake at the beginning of the video. It's 2010, not 2001. Sorry about that. 😊

You did a great job making this video BUT I must say that I liked the text better. The "quiet" in the video made it super scary and more realistic. Hearing just the aircraft and pilots conversation is much more interesting for me.

Just hybrid the two formats you'll do fine having narration will probably help pick up new viewers who don't want to read but there is something cool about just hearing the aircraft and the flight crew. what I don't get is why this pilot no Matter how tired and distracted would just noise it into the ground when they were already on a go around

I, for one, really enjoyed your narration. Your voice is clear, even, and easy to listen to. Your explanations are easy to understand. You've put a lot of time and effort into this and it shows.
It seems I am in the minority as many other viewers seem to prefer no audio narration.
Perhaps a good compromise would be to narrate only two portions of the animations:
    - The beginning... giving a brief summary of the plane info, pilot info, and flight plan.
    - The end... the explanation of the crash report and the lasting impact the crash had on the industry, etc.
This way, the combination of music and sound effects can continue to create the suspenseful moments up to and during the crash. It is a unique aspect to your videos we have all grown to love and enjoy.

The pilots 'felt'? What happened to looking at the instruments? "Hey, John, it feels like we're too high." "No, it feels too low to me." "Look at the instruments." "Instruments? What are instruments?" "Those little round things in front of us." "Oh, I always wondered what those were."

Somatogravic illusion gives a very powerful sensation in this case as if the aircraft was pitching up, it has happened many times during go-arounds with no visibility (e.g. Flydubai 981), it is apparently quite difficult to overcome your need to put the nose down by convincing your own brain that your inner ear is transmitting false signals. Moreover, landing is often the most stressful part of a flight, especially with low visibility and poor approach systems, you also have a very short amount of time to react, and possibly the pilot perceived a false horizon. All these things have to be taken into account.

I flew with Afriqiyah from London on that route a few months before that, including flight number 771 on the return leg. I'd been so impressed with every aspect of my flying experience - including a spanking new A330 between Tripoli, Johannesburg and return - that I had no hesitation in choosing them to fly London - Dhaka and back a few weeks later. On the return leg from Dhaka I was even given a free upgrade to Business class! The only downside was the sorry state of Tripoli Airport at the time, but a big shiny new terminal was under construction, due to open not long afterwards. My blood ran cold when I heard the news. I still had the stub of my boarding pass for Flight 771. Worse was to follow not long after, with Libya being reduced to chaos by war. Last I heard Tripoli Airport was still closed. BTW, Afriqiyah Airways didn't have the livery shown in the video at that time.

This reflects a loss of scanning ability that comes from relying on automation. Pilots are losing their manual flying skills. Did they not check their altitude over the final approach fix??? Bust their minimums, and were fooled by the Go Around sensations of acceleration that proficient instrument flying would have overcome.

Of all the causes they didn't mention recruiting, training and monitoring of pilots as a major cause, because pilots like this simply should not be allowed to fly passenger planes and it would be easy to detect if better monitoring and training was in place.

Friend, when I first turned the video on and heard a voice, I thought I had stumbled onto someone else's channel. It was great as are all your videos; put together very well and with good visuals. However, like many rock bands out there, sometimes it can be good to branch from your roots, but not always. Point is, stick to your original formula. It works. Among many different videos of this nature, there is something about yours that draws me in. I find that I pay much more attention when there is no dialog, but just subtitles and calming music. Even better when you can hear the real radio transmissions. It really sticks and really keeps me attended. And its why I certainly enjoy watching these. I know you put a lot of work into them. And it shows.
BTW, are you going to get around to doing some on Flight 800 (1996), the Air France Concord disater, the Potamic River crash, and one years ago when the plane flipped on landing and cart-wheeled down the runway? There were survivors on that one. And please excuse me, as I don't remember the flight names or numbers of these particular accidents. Would enjoy seeing your take on them.

This is by far the best I've seen. It surpasses your past efforts if that is possible.
The production value is immense. The music is fantastic and the audio is superior.
The voice is excellent, commanding you to listen, spoken with authority yet still sensitive.
    Timber and accent are delightful.
    Don't change a thing friend.
I've too have seen many of your past productions, and enjoyed them immensely.
Don't give in and listen to all who say your past is superior.
People get accustomed to things. It takes time to transition to a new experience.
Loosen up people shake off the chains of familiarity and habit.
Let's explore this new format. I find it has more dimensions, I don't need to read subtitles and therefore can sink deeper into the drama unfolding in front of me.
    Please don't get discouraged friend.
