You literally 1000% read my mind on my impression on the album. I hear Nicki rip off’s, Doja’s rip off, 5 songs are skips, with multiple songs sounding exactly like another song or from her previous songs. I rated the album 4/10 totally forgettable and 0 replay value. I can’t believe this is what we nominate today as BEST NEW ARTIST at award show.

Yup - something that quickly comes often quickly goes. Why does Nicki or Taylor still do sold out tours and No.1 albums more than 14 years in the game? Because it took TIME, EFFORT GRINDING! They built their fan-bases ground up and remained consistent , since it didn't happen overnight neither did they disappear overnight. Ice just needs to put in more work.

Seems like Ice Spice doesn’t have much variation in her music. That can cause someone to produce almost the same work 24/7. With her being new and having no loyal fanbase, I don’t see her career lasting too long if she doesn’t create something with lasting effect. Finally the Ice Spice phenomena is now melting. There is too much money put down to make sure you know a particular artist and brainwash you to like the artist. The fans will naturally gather when an artist or band presents talent, a good example: Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation, Unleash The Archers, etc. Commercial music followers will not know them, as huge money to promote is not thrown around.

He had the exact same opinion as Honest in his review concerning the song 'Fat Butt':
Rapaholic said it was one of the rare moments Ice tried to switch up, and he also said it was a blatant copy of Nicki Minaj.
His review and opinions were similar to Honest's in many general ways, but about that particular song, their take was identical.
My point is: their ear and their experience picked up the same flaws, tone - and biting.

I believe ice spice was only rapping for a year or two before her blow up. I watched another video where someone said artists need time before their big moment, to develop and grow their craft. She hasn’t been working on it for very long and it shows. Nicki Minaj was grinding and rapping for YEARS before her big break and she was about 26/27 years old. That’s why she stands the test of time, she worked hard on her craft, she’s versatile, has multiple characters, flows and speaks on different subject matter. Ice spice is a novice and that’s okay, but I think the stratospheric fame shes got has been detrimental to her growth as an artist.
