This just goes to show that a viral hit can not create and maintain a career. You have to put in effort and expand your sound and give more than your looks. At the end of the day, people want substance, whether the industry wants to be admitted or not. Spice was destined to fail cause all she was is her looks and nothing more. To me her only okay or good songs are “Did it first” and “Princess Diana” “No clarity” actually had some bars- but to me the song wasn’t a hit, it had some lyrical transitions, but it was lacking the “excitement factor”. And was monotone and not as fun. And lastly- “Think u the shit” was ok, but it was a hit, and it was memeable and could be used to have fun or dance to and make short Tiktok’s just for fun.

I tried to give her a chance. I've listened to pretty much every era of hip hop from the 80's to now and I've always found artists and song that are good. Maan, I really tried with her but I couldn't make it through her album. So shit!
The thing with female rap is that they actually dont even create that much. They come up with 3 lines and repeat them over and over again in the song with a changing beat. The industry is clearly using people who have the look, but are lacking in the talent department as examples that " they can make people famous even without skill " power hungrily.
