Keep in mind any mods you do to your vehicle can void warranties and potentially cause damage. If you choose to follow any of the mods listed on HunttyRunner RUclips, TikTok of IG channels you are doing so at your own risk.
Caution: Different states have different rules about mud flaps. Safe travels.
That's true! Great input thanks for your comment.
Great idea to trim the front flaps, thx for another fun video 🤟🏻
Thanks for the encouragement!
I appreciate ur effort but I like my 4 runner w/ flaps
There you go!
Lunar Rock/Yota Fam 🔥
if you are just a city slicker or mall crawler and likes the high clearance look without mudflap then that’s fine. however if you are a serious adventure seeker, off roader like me, you would want to keep those mudfaps on. those mudflaps help keep rocks, mud, and dirt from kicking into the undercarriage frame and exterior body panel of your truck. not to mention it can kick rock onto the car behind you and crack their windshield. therefore mudflaps are helpful in preventing damage chips and rust to your truck.
actually the mudflaps in the rear messed up my sisters 4runners bumper when she went over a rock. So no, I don't want stiff mudflaps personally.
Maybe we can reach out to ARK and get them to make a front flap delete as well :D
Pretty cool to see a lady doing her own mods! Looks good! Looks a lot better. But down here where I’m at I worry about the rock chips…. But I do use a chemical guys “bare bones”to spray on my chassis to help with dirt and and corrosion that may arise…I watched the video twice just so I can look at your ink as well:)
I think I will get some paint protective film and then some rock sliders here shortly to help prevent chips. I will say that in Colorado I spay off the underside pretty well in the winter time because they put down mag chloride. But I would agree corrosion is a concern as well as rock chips with this mod.
@@HunttyRunner I just put a set of the rough country electric steps on mine.. wanted sliders but I take care of my parents and easier for them to get in and out.. I also just did a dashcam and the usb charger that fits into an empty switch hole…. Also put in a module I got on Temu to allow wireless CarPlay!
Trying to buy a lunar rock shirt with red stripes from you but not seeing it. I messaged you on insta
@@djh254 looks like I needed to renew some of my listings on my Etsy, thanks for reaching out so I could fix that. Here's the link for ya!

I’m gonna use a white marker on the front flaps
I hope you realize that ARK sells the front mud flaps...mine are coming tomorrow.
Didn't find those when I searched online, either their SEO for the product sucks or they just released those. Either way I am happy with my free ones. =)
i agree it looks better without the flaps but on my last vehicle (Explorer) it did not have flaps and when driving in rain it kicked dirt all up the sides of vehicle. Put flaps on and solved the problem. Tough call to do this or not on my new TRD Pro..
I plan to add paint protective film to the rear to help protect the paint, and then rock sliders to protect the main body from rock chips. I do think they make some flexible ones as well. For me I didn't want to jam the mudflap on a rock when wheeling and have it mess up my bumper
