    There is a town in northern Honduras where fish rain from the sky during its annual rainy season. TV productions from all around the world tried to film this unbelievable phenomenon, but always failed to do so. I decided to spent 18 days in the town of Yoro and tried to become the first person in history to capture the incredible event.

You can't possibly tell me the villagers don't know that there's a permanent river north and west of their village 1KM away. I know you try to make a fun video, but them lying and you going along with it, pretty cheap.

    I was originally thinking of meteorological conditions where fish literally get pulled up into the sky, like during hurricanes, etc. However, after seeing this and having experience with floods, I am almost positive that this is an old dried up riverbed, and somewhere higher in altitude, which could be miles away, the rain is causing a river or lake to overflow, and follow the old riverbed, bringing fish with it. It takes a rain that lasts for hours to cause it, and those are definite flood waters. The fact that it happens at the same place every time is just more proof. I would bet that if someone can find a very detailed topology report of the area, if one has been done, you will see an old riverbed that you can trace right back to the area where the fish are coming from. There has to be a river nearby somewhere, and by nearby, I mean, withing 50 miles or so probably. The first step is finding topology maps of the area. I don't know how big the riverbed is, to know if the resolution provided by satellite and shuttle base radar mapping would show it or not, but I would definitely start with that, then look for higher resolution topology. Once you have that, you can follow the riverbed, or lower elevation all the way to its source to know where it is coming from. I am sure others have already done this, just gotta do a bit of searching.

      Even before the rains, the area that was shown as frequently “raining fish” appeared to be sort of marshy/swampy (standing ground water in shallow muddy pools, visible from the surface), if that’s the case, 4+ hours of torrential rain on already saturated soil is easily enough to cause a flood/large standing body of water that then gradually recedes into the earth

    • @Juuk-D
      @Juuk-D Год назад +2

      Also seeing/recording fish falling would be insanely hard since gravity would make them fall in seconds so you only have a second to actually catch it in action, it's not like a continues rain it's more of a dump at once from the hurricane/storm to actually see them fall you need to be at the right spot at the right time and that's not easy predicting where the storm will carry, how far and what day and time it exactly happens that's why no video of them actually falling exist, the odds someone has a camera or phone out in a huge storm recording a spot of no significance randomly and catches the fish falling would be insane, especially for people that aren't doing amazing (Economic, average wealth)

    There is a meteorological phenomenon (most often observed at the beginning of the “rainy season” as noted in this episode)
    I read about it many years ago, and the gist of it was, that under very special conditions of temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, etc., storm-fronts with high winds have the capacity to create a sort of “inverted funnel” updraft effect upon an area of water that is so strong it lifts many many gallons of water (and whatever was swimming in them) up into the stratosphere, at which point the (rapidly moving) storm front will continue onward (fish, water, and all) until the storm loses enough momentum that the updraft is no longer enough to counteract gravity and the water (and fish) literally fall out of the sky in a deluge, almost as if someone had poured a bucket of water on you from the story above where you are walking on the street.
    It’s very difficult to predict, and the same phenomenon has actually resulted in hail (pieces of solid ice formed in certain types of storms) have traveled dozens or hundreds of miles from the original site of the storm, to a totally different type of biome that is dominated by dirt/sand/very high temperatures & never sees snow (essentially the Middle East, I think around Saudi Arabia) yet in the past 50-75 years there have been numerous accounts (again hard to forecast) of ice raining down in the middle of the dessert 🤷‍♂️😳

    • @HicSvntDracones
      @HicSvntDracones Год назад +45

      That does happen, but I am pretty sure that isn't what is going on here, usually when it rains fish, frogs, etc, they fall onto dry land, in this instance, they are showing up in heavy flowing flood water. At some point, up in the mountains or somewhere, is a river or lake, that is overflowing, creating the flood waters you see, bringing the fish with it. They aren't falling from the sky.

    Well, my friend, this 'falling from the sky' is NOT a miracle is just B/S. Those fish are pushed down the river during heavy rain, that's all! Anyway, your videos are awesome, thanks Peter!

      The big storm overfloods the river, which creates a stream that brings the fish to the village. Cmon... What a waste of a video on your channel. I follow your channel religiously for the past 3.5 years and this is the first video I am disappointed with.

    Peter seems like a really amazing guy. I enhoyed his video.
    Im sure he came from a genuine place, but I have my doubts. Does NOBODY have questions? I mean....fish falling from the sky should litetally be....fish falling from the sky. We want to see it. We want to see it lying in the streets. The grass. Rooftops. Everywhere.
    But only in the stream? That's normally where fish is to be found, right? So is this truly miracle?
    Im very skeptical!

    Being super sceptical, if I don’t actually see it falling from the sky, there has to be another logical answer. That said, this is absolutely awesome, whether from the sky, or from other sources. The smiles and excitement if these people are heartwarming and honest. Great episodes bro.

    There is rain. Right. Rain makes some temporary rivers. Right. With enough water a lake can connect to whatever, sure. Fish go through rivers, sure. Fish coming from the air falling down ONLY in those rivers and nowhere else like streets. What ?
    I love you dude but that is BS

    Now are you going to deny God having sent manna (sweet dish) and salwa (bird meat) from the heavens for the children of Israel during the time of prophet Moses and a platter containing many food items like fish, bread, etc for the children of Israel again during the time of jesus as all this is mentioned in the Quran.
    God is the greatest and I submit myself to him.
