1:02:18 - It's true. A lot of companies would've shut this mod down immediately. I have my criticisms of Bethesda, but I can't deny I am grateful to them for not doing that. I actually do believe it is also in their best interest, but I still am thankful that they're reasonable enough to get that, unlike a LOT of companies.
agreed, but these mods also show Beth incopetence to a extent, like Fallout London... some ppl made a Fallout game in their free time for no money, while Beth is stucked in some kind of limbo and delivering Starfield and Shattered space....
So excited for this and Skywind. Been followind these since they were very first announced. I hope I'll be able to play them both whenever they finally release. Thank you for all your work guys.
There is more projects for Skyrim & Fallout 4 i am waiting for. I am just happy they finally started release. This year Fallout London. Next Year Skybivlion. Hopefully other projects are close to finish as well.
Incredible! It looks great but still uniquely oblivion. Oblivion was my first Bethesda game & still holds a special place in my heart for it's surreal dreamlike vibe & mad AI character interactions. If i ever get bored of starfield this will be top of my list.
I can't wrap my head around how good the voice acting is ngl, since most mods I've played have bland v.a, or over"accent"ed if that makes sense, this one feels just like how the people in skyrim talks, which is nice

Question: With the additional farm land outside chorrol for example, im assuming there will be extra generic NPC's that live and do daily farm work. Since you're not doing any voice acting, will they not speak? or just use other generic lines within original oblivion?

Hey guys, this looks absolutely fantastic! The only question I have is will this include full controller support ? The most annoying thing about oblivion on PC is the lack of official controller support. Keep up the great work!
I noticed that the Skyrim level up sound is still in, do you guys intend on keeping it like that or replacing it with something that sounds more like Oblivion? Also, do you guys have any followers as rewards in this version of the game? Great job with everything, btw. Oblivion was my first TES game and I'm very excited to play this.
In my opinion a true game is about enjoyable stories and gameplay and such, and it looks like you guys are doing good work in this area. Too many modern western games focus too intensely on graphics, that you may as well be just playing some graphics showcase instead of a game.
one thing im worried about is this being difficult to install, im really hoping its as simple as downloading and dragging and dropping it somewhere or Wabbajack, although I have no clue how to use wabbajack, point being, I hope its accessible to people who have 0 experience in modding the elder scrolls series
however, I am legit willing to move mountains to install this project as well as skywind. I dont care if I accidentally install 20 viruses doing it, I NEED this
Will skyblivion have the old quick cast magic system like og oblivion? I saw the skywind team got it working on their side, was wondering if it would be ported over, or if you guys are doing your own version. The quick cast system was my favorite feature from og oblivion so i really hope it will be in skyblivion. (if you dont know what im referring to with "quick cast" i mean the ability to bind a spell to the shout key to be able to cast spells wile wielding a weapon/shield in your offhand)
Probably too early to tell but do you have a general min specs this will require? Is it just the same as skyrimSE or will it need a more modern hardware setup?
Question: I know you decided to keep the NPC's voices and sounds, are you planning on doing the same with the enemies, like the goblins high pitched screeching sounds? at the moment they still have the falmer sounds.
@@UnderdogSMO I think you have to own it, it pulls a lot of the assets from the original game, Voices, etc otherwise, I think its called stealing intellectual property, your essentially getting the game for free, yes there where upgrade to the game, but the story will always be Bethesda's.
The state of the game looks amazing, better than BGS games, you went beyond and even added extra stuff to make the world more belivable, I love it. Congrats to all the team
as far as i know the whole "have to redo all of the voices" thing was only for the "fallout 3 in fallout 4" remaster. I believe it was due to the fact fo3 has voice lines composed by actual actors, and as such they would have had to been compensated in order to use their voice lines again. For the elder scrolls, since its all owned inhouse by bethesda and the voice actors who featured in og oblivion either signed agreements allowing the continued use of their voice lines in near perpetuity, or who wouldn't mind allowing a fan made mod project to reuse the lines, it should be ok to use the og voice overs in skyblivion.
Correct, before starting the quest you can already go in and fight some of the ogres. After you start the quest the Ogre Chief will have returned who has the Chorrol Honorblade
Sweet, playing through oblivion for the first time now. Really amazing game, but you have to adapt to the graphics. Maybe I'll do my second playthrough with this, thanks
@Ac0ustics0ul don't disagree, but there is no need for a sarcy comment like that from someone who has contributed nothing to it, but will be happy to play ot for free. If they recon they can do it, good for them.. too much negativity these days
First thing first this is looking so amazing it gave me goosebumps. is is quite wierd to see the oblivion game so full hd and next gen. you guys made an astonishing job so far. The only minor thing "kinda questionable" is the main cities not inserted ingame "open cities mod style". loadscreens on them is quite silly nowdays. But that is just a detail
@Ac0ustics0ul I think it matters because it is great to feel the city is actually in the world and not in its own oblivion pocket healm. it is not really about the waiting, it is the immersion
As impressive as it is, the combat in Skyrim isn’t that stimulating in this age of gaming. Would be nice to have some what of an update on the combat sense

The faces need to all be more smooth shiny like the elf update you did in this stream. not have ugly zombie look of skyrim.overall its looking beatiful even though the draw distamce is awful compared to oblivion. Cant even see oblivion capital in the middle while in oblivion you could see to the sea . night time looks to brighy and should be darker with more blueish hue. Caves should be darker and have more or less tourches playing with darkness for sneaking. Audio for swords sounds annoying like slicing cheese .maybe adding new sounds like armor clanking etc would sound bettrt
Morrowind was way better than Oblivion, and in some ways Skyrim is better than both... The fact that Skyrim is sold over 60 million copies.. and still continues to sell more... It's damn impressive. I like Morrowind a lot better than both games.. but I wish that they can incorporate a lot of the elements of Morrowind into a whole new game, and still be able to explore a lot more of the world then we're able to now. I feel like I'm stuck in a box. I hope that changes..

You guys should give yourselves more credit. Your work is far more impressive than Starfield.
That's a very low bar.
@PhthaloGreenskin I know. Imagine if these guys had the time, resources, and budget that Bethesda had. They could make a true masterpiece.
Hopefully Microsoft doesn't buy them out and ruin this too...
