I have never seen yarn carried up that way before! I do know how to carry yarn up but not that way. This is much more practical n im betting alot of youtubers do not know this! So thankfull you showed up on my feed❣️. Oh, and yes i do like the pattern, lol❣️❣️
Been crocheting for 50 years now, and love to learn new variations etc. Thank you for a beautiful pattern. I have some Red Heart Super Saver in the color way of Neon Lights. This will make a wonderful blanket my grandson who is about to be 18 has requested! God Bless!
Sorry! I might write a pattern for it after all and post stages of it here as well. If you want to try it, search for "hexagonal crochet cardigan", as @neeeeves suggests, and you'll find tons of great tutorials. Then just apply the rule to the Hoof Print Granny Square ;-)
Thank you for sharing ! I m a horseperson, so i love, LOVE this pattern ! I m a big fan of granny squares, and now i learned something very cool! Thank you so much!

Grazie mille :)
Very pretty thank you!
@comfortcreekranch4948 Thank you 🙏
I have seen this type of granny square before - it came out a year ago on another crochet website Brianna K.
I've never seen it applied on clothing, though. Brianna K. is a great creator, but I haven't seen it from her. :)
I'm assuming this will work for a regular hexi cardi? Think I'll give it a try. Thank you!
Exactly!
So you keep working the granny square until it gets larger enough for half the sweater???
Yes, exactly. Then you work the other half in the same way and join both pieces at the back.
That’s it? I thought you were going to show how to make the garment on the thumbnail.
There are a million free patterns out there about how to make garments from granny squares
Me too.
