Brian, what do you get when you cross a Dartmouth (or Brown) grad with a navy officer with a car buff that loves watches and cycles? You get this amazing content! Tim is the 9th wonder of the watch world! He’s wicked smart (as they say in the northeast). Thanks for the show guys.
To Tim, I aspire to be just as eloquent as you are in my line of work. Beyond just my love for watches I watch your videos to learn from you the art of speaking. Thank you.
Tim have the gift of the gab. Not only this he can easily recite different timepieces model numbers, materials & movements just straight through his lip no need any script or looking at notes. How he can remember this much & accuracy buffled me 😅
I continue to be amazed at the quality of content and inventory you guys bring week in and week out. Tim is a proven marvel in this business, and I enjoy Brian's passion and appreciation of Tim's skills. Thanks for keeping us informed and entertained throughout these unique times.
Great show, really enjoyed that.... pleased also that Brian is just as gob smacked by some of Tims amazing phrasing. Quick question @Tim... I am thinking about an early 2000's JLC Master Geographic and while steel could be my go to I might treat myself toward the yellow or white gold options as I like the Hunter display back...... Question - is the white gold variant this "grey gold" you speak of or will it show through to yellow if scratched on these? I think the reference is 142.3.92 .
Independent watch markers is my ultimate grail. Main stream too common with rather at certain point same design. Personally I felt independent watch makers put more heart & soul to bring their crafted timepieces to life. But having said this that JLC is a stunner! Great awesome show guys.... both of u to me team-up really really well. Cheers stay safe.
Hi Tim and Brian, loves the episode. I wanted to add that besides the GP chronograph, the Montblanc Minerva Villeret 1858 chronographs are very good alternatives to the Patek 5070 at very fair prices too. Seldom or never see those watches featured on the show though.
Doesn’t sound like your reading that Tim. If not how much research do you do before you shoot these things. Never seen anyone to speak so well in the same take and have so much knowledge to memory. Incredible stuff.
Great show guys, I wasn't even expecting this on Thursday morning. Also like the theme direction for the show. I'll bet there are enough worthy chronos in the vault to do an interesting part II. Since I'm a sucker for a chrono, any of these would be welcome on my wrist (maybe not the Hublot) but if I had to pick ONE it would have to be the Duometre. Hope you continue to pursue this show format.
Cool to see them wearing masks. Maybe one day Brian will show some courage and acknowledge that Black Lives Matter on this show without fear of upsetting the white supremacists.
Nice 👍 episode. Wish to see a part-2 to the chronograph episode with coverage on regatta timers ⏱ different scales ⚖️ like pulsometer, tachymeter, telemeter etc
I like this channel because you can learn so much. Of the watches shown today I'd go for the Rolex (although I'm not normally a Rolex person) but I'd put a metal strap on it.
Guys you gotta “socially distance” across a long table, or do a split screen, and DOFF the masks! Really not pleasant listening to muffled hosts. Argh!
Yep. I’m glad they are doing shows, but come on, there must be a work around which would allow them to not be muffled AND be risk averse. I am anti-mask for myself, but to each their own, liberty!
I so wish Seiko would bring out a modern version of the 6139 or 6138 chronograph. And I'm not talking a Presage Enamel. A real sports watch, possibly Prospex. You have to go back to the 70s and 80s to find these classic examples which are much sought after.

Tim went to Dartmouth. He was waitlisted at Brown.
@@BenTramer I'd rather go to Dartmouth over Brown...but I went to Columbia so what would I know.
When saving up for your grail forced you to make face masks out of your grandpa's boxers...

I feel the duometre is the best swiss response so far to the lange Datograph or lange 1815 chrono
@@the1916companywatchreviews Doumetre is too thick ;)
Mark S so is the Datograph

PP 5070 with Lemania movement..definitively the way to go!👍🥃
The Daytonas with Oysterflex straps are growing on me.
Hopefully these 2 will start making videos together again soon.

Tim there is that car and watch theme again youve got to explore that topic in depth .
That 8-beat second dial is insane.
Doesn’t sound like your reading that Tim. If not how much research do you do before you shoot these things. Never seen anyone to speak so well in the same take and have so much knowledge to memory. Incredible stuff.
Beautiful watches. No Speedmaster, Navitimer or Chronomaster. Duometre andDaytona are stunning.
That Girard Perregaux with a rubber strap must be amazing 😎
Oh, a black rubber strap :)
when Tim describes a watch, it’s smoooooth!
Nice to see the aquanat back... too old to need a chrono but much love regardless!
Great show as usual guys!
Great show again from the vault gentlemen. Super pic of watches on the table. Daytona all the way. Thanks stay healthy and safe.
I've also seen Movado Ferrari Watches as well.
Great show gentlemen! Stay safe and all the best to you both!
Tim really is outstanding. So knowledgeable, but comes across as a genuinely nice guy 👏👏👏

How do I get access to the FP Journe watch featured on this particular RUclips video?
Hey guys Chrono show and... where is "El Primero" ???
JLC Duomètre is a grail without a doubt.
Great show as always
Thanks Brian & Tim
If the Duometre is the Tim Mosso then is the Sympathie the Brian Govberg watch? Or is it the Aquanaut?
Is that JLC duometre the one Tim used to own?
Great to have you guys back together.
Cool to see them wearing masks. Maybe one day Brian will show some courage and acknowledge that Black Lives Matter on this show without fear of upsetting the white supremacists.
Your racism shines bright. You must embarrass your parents.
Nice job gents! Nice pieces presented as well. Keep up the content. The JLC is my pick.... 👍🥃
Great chrono content... Steelers fan needs to buy that Daytona. I prefer the platinum ice blue chocolate variant. Keep safe and healthy!
This episode was great!!!
Tell sell for the deep pockets..😁👍🏻
singer for me....
I'd love to get a quote for the set. Would all the zeros fit the screen.lol

Tim, I love your show, but you need to at least wear your signature Sunglasses on your head. Otherwise, your hair looks like a Bird’s Nest!
@@the1916companywatchreviews Management green-lit that?
Another great video.... but who were those two guys?
SHAME - you did NOT talk about Rolex

The masks ahahah >.
Are you in public? Why are you both wearing chin diapers for the video?
Tim is a watch android.
No the stupid masks again...I'm out
It’s hilarious.
❌😷
The masks are so ridiculous I can't watch....
