Does the club help source parts for the david brown tractors? Tried to source a new radiator for my 1490 but apparently not to be got in uk or ireland so got my one recored, great to see the channel back👍
Hello Tom, I'm not a DB enthusiast or club member, however, I have an old David Brown 2D tractor fitted with the DB plough set. It's a runner, starts on the button, and is in original unrestored condition. I never use it, it comes out of the shed maybe once a year for a run around the yard but I've never used the ploughs. I'm going to get it out next week, dust it off, and offer it for sale. I believe it's rare to find a 2D complete with a plough set fitted, making it quite a bit more valuable than a 2D without. I've also been told massive variations in it's value. I wonder if you, or any of your members, would give an opinion of what I should advertise it for please? Unfortunately I don't have any recent photos of it (only photos from about 6yrs ago) but I have a short video of it running last winter, the last time it came out. I'll take some photos next week when I get it out. Any help with a valuation would be very welcome, thanks. All the best. Peter.
